I was surfing the web for some tech stuff recently looking for some programs that has a native 64 bit flavor (for my New OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit) when I got interested in other things I saw on the web. I stumbled upon a Yugatech article entitled: BayanDSL offers IWantV! Live TV and VOD. For more details on that just click on the article that I provided here.
iWANTv! is available EXCLUSIVELY for BayanDSL and Sky Broadband subscribers. You need to register at the site though to use its services. And according the FAQs of the site, the services there are for free. It is still in Beta though. So why not give it a shot...
This is one more reason to stay with Bayan and enjoy your DSL connection!!!

Kala ko pa naman makakapanood ako dun nde pala, need pala windows media player 11. Ang problema kasi nde genuine ang OS ko hehehe. Sa pinoychannel.tv na lang ako manonood.

sana makapag register na ako.... bayandsl subscriber naman ako eh....
nga pala under beta parin sya.... sana eto ang madag dag sa features nyan....
may VOD pa naman na sya... (ayos to!)
sana sa laban ni pacman eh ipalabas dyan ng live...
kahit additional fee sa darating na monthly bill para lang
makapanood ng laban ng live kesa mag sopcast at least bayan server naman eh... (yun nga lang limit lang nila yung pwede mag subscribe ng live na laban para di matulad kay s*ckspad)
tapos
dagdag ng ibang channels local at foreign (pero di ko sinasabing mala free cable ha..).. tutal si bayan naman eh si lopez din....
yun lang sana mapagbigyan.... under beta pa naman sya eh.... tingin ko dami pang madaragdag dyan....

The portion for the account number, what most people place there is the phone number. It should not be the phone number.
The account number is the one in the phone/DSL bill.
However if you are having problems registering but entering the right info, call technical support. They will be able to assist you with that.
Hindi na siya Beta. Officially launched na siya sa commercial ni Lola Techie. I have tried the service already and I can watch without buffering. Tuloy tuloy yung panonood ko ng mga episodes. Just to name a few, I tried the service watching May Bukas Pa, SOCO, XXX, Correspondents and I Survived.

Salamat sa Reply! pero Mod Mikos.... marunong akong magbasa... " Subscriber Account Number" napaka layo sa phone number nyan... diba? wag ka mag-alala di naman ako galit eh... alam ko namang tingin mo lang na dyan ako nagkamali kaya di ako makapag register.... anyways... sa na i-post mong image eh.... di pa ako umaabot dyan sa page na yan.... eto nangyayari.... once na i-click ko yung " Register now to start watching!"  eh eto yung lumalabas na webpage nya...  at ang nakalagay sa web address nya ay http://www.iwantv.com.ph/invalidip.aspxang tanong pano ako naging invalid ip? samantalang bayantel dsl subscriber ako at dito mismo sa pc ko na line ni bayan ako nag reregister.... yan malinaw na yun tanong ko.... eh di makakakuha na ako ng mas malinaw na sagot....

It has live streaming like Myx, DZMM, ANC, and Al Jazeera.
With the Video on Demand, these are all recorded episodes. But the delay is not that significant. Just to give you an example, the final telecast of May Bukas Pa finale was in the website by around 11PM of the same day that it was aired in Channel 2. It was aired around 7 or 8PM.

as of now wala pa silang formal techsupport for iwantv because of ABS-CBN ang humahawak niyan.... kung my problem kayo email niyo na lang un concern niyo sa feedback@iwantv.com.ph
