Kasi last time na natatandaan ko, may inayos sila sa mga cables ko mula sa poste hanggang sa haus
dun nagsimula ang problema ko eh. 1st 3weeks ko, ok nmn, consistent ang speed. Nung may gumalaw sa mga cable
( kung tutuusin, wala nmn akong pinagagawa sa kanila nuon , bigla nlng my ngpunta dito at nagayos daw ng
mga cables ko. )saka nagloko ang speed ko. Baka mamaya, galawin n nmn nila, mas mapasama ulit. Mahirap mag request ng port reblock since ihahanapan ka nila ng DSL port either sa facility where you are connected or sa pinakamalapit na facility sa lugar mo in case wala ng available sa area mo. Kaya laging last resort option yan. Not to mention the fact that they will re-route the connection if the available port is in another facility. The re routing though is at the server level na. Field tech to tech support na ang coordination niyan pag na approve. You just have to talk to them and reason out.
What do you mean Manual Proxy Configuration? What proxy are you using?

 @ Sir Mikos Manual proxy Configuration yung sineset sa internet option tapos, ilalagay ang proxy.skynet.net and port # 3128. Ilang beses din ginawa un ng mga tech ng bayan pero yung yahoo.com ayaw bumukas. speedtest ko, while using that setting, same pa din.

I will make another follow up sa connection problem mo. Me problem ang Yahoo lately. Even I am having some issues with it. Ang work around ko lang is to use ph.yahoo.com or www.yahoo.com.ph and then try to access my email account (which is hosted on the international Yahoo server (wala kasing .ph yung email add ko...)). I am able to access it pero with patience as the page doesn't normally load that fast. Other websites though like Hotmail, Gmail and AOL are working fine.
Possible related din ito dun sa minor upgrade and maintenance na ginagawa sa isang international gateway facility na gamit ng ilang ISPs (including BayanDSL) kaya nagkakaganiyan ang access natin. End of January pa slated na matatapos yun.

Update ko lang Thread ko dito Sir Mikos  Maganda na sya, as in maganda na talaga dahil kahit download rate ko, mataas n. Nagsimula ito kahapon. May mga Bayan Tech na gumawa sa box. Yung landline namin , maghapon walang dial tone. Yung net na kasama ng landline, maghapon din walang connection. Itong line ko, may connecton pero paputol putol. Pero ngayon, Ok na sya. Salamat sa mga gumawa ng box. Nakausap din namin yung isa sa mga gumawa sa box. Inayos daw nila dahil sanga sanga na ang mga cable at dami din wala sa ayos. Salamat talaga sa mga taga Bayan tech. Sana hindi na bumaba ulit ang connection ko. Salamat din Sir Mikos, sa mapagpasensyang pagtulong! Note: Wag muna delete thread ko. Para kung magkaproblema ulit. Dito pa din ako mag-a-update. Salamat!

Update 11:00Am Feb. 2/10   3 days ng ganto kabilis ang net ko. Ibig sabihin siguro, ganto na talaga sya. Download rate without torrent, mabilis din. Tumataas na ng hanggang 100kbps. Salamat BayanDSL.

Good evening Sir Mikos! I'm back! Hehhehe! Ask ko lang bakit ang baba na naman ng download rate ko.? Maayos naman ang speed test. Dati 120+kbps ang DL ko ngayon less 10 kbps nalang. Yung 900mb file dati, dinadownload ko lng ng 2hours. ngayon halos 1 day. Minsan ng ee-error pa. 2 days ng ganito.

Have you tried using the proxy?
I'm still using W7 x64. I tried x32 pero di ako contented sa performance niya (since I am now into video editing, amateur nga lang). Sayang yung 1 Gb na memory na di nagagamit ng OS sa 32 bit. Unlike sa 64 bit, na access niya lahat and I find the OS faster (even when running 32 bit apps). Nag ka problem lang talaga ako sa system cleaners na gagamitin. I made a wrong decision about using 32 bit compatible cleaners from companies claiming that it will work also in x64 OSes. Nag testing muna ako what will work so far, and tried to look for native x64 system cleaning programs din. Those na walang x64 counterparts pa, checked also which ones can remain as 32 bit (like disk cleaners). So far so good naman. Hehehehe...

Thanks sa reply! Mejo busy kaya now lng din nakapagreply! Hindi ko pa na try ang naka proxy. Pero i guess alam ko na kung bakit bumabagal ang DL ko. Dahil sa McAfee, naga-update sya pero error. Kapag may kasabay na dina-download habang naga-update ang McAfee Bumabagal talaga ang DL rate. Kaya nagreinstall ako. Nag OK n ulit ang DL ko. Thanks ulit! PakiPM mo nmn sa akin kung anong software ginagamit mo sa video editing. NERO lang ginagamit ko pero hnd ako kuntento dahil limited ang mga features and tools. MORE POWER BAYANDSL! Resource Hog ang McAfee. Main reason why I didn't renew the subscription that was given to me before as a gift, mahal din kasi compared to other AVs. I am using Avast Free 5.0 right now. Very light sa system. Hehehehe...
