we customers have been far too complacent. perhaps a trip to the bayan offices will prove more fruitful.

yes we all have choices, including bayantel who chooses not to act on them Those are labels in the Forum to distinguish the theme of the threads. As I have stated, follow ups are the ones done here. The technical support arm is still the main support arm for BayanDSL subscribers and the Forum doesn't intend to replace them nor try to be an online technical support. The main reason why we have follow ups here is because this is a community of subscribers. And those working for BayanDSL are extending their hands to their fellow subscribers. That is how those sections came to be. If you noticed, BayanTech Support is at the bottom of the Forum lay out, indicating that follow ups are what can only be expected here.
As for not acting on the problem, time and again, I have stated that they are looking and working into it. Some things do take time. This is not something that can be done in a snap. I understand there is frustration.
FLAMERS shall be severely sanctioned!!! Please lang MATINONG TANONG LANG SANA ANG ITANONG instead of NONSENSE ONES. The Forum is NOT an Online Technical Support. For your DSL/Phone concerns please call the hot lines FIRST before posting it in the Forum. This includes requests for port resets, DSL connection footprints (ATT and SNRs), requests for technicians and repairs. Please read the Bayan Forum Rules. If the post is in size 6 or big sized font, it means I am addressing you as a moderator. If the post is in the default size, it means I am Mikos the plain subscriber. Bayan Forum Rules

since 1ms lang ang latency mo sa 3rd and 4th hop.. it indicates that you are connected at the main servers ng bayantel which means you are currently working inside bayantel itself.. and since 160-170 lang latency mo .. it seems that bayantel has no problems with peering to us servers.. and since people are smart enough, obviously ang problema is masyadong congested na yung mga lines na binibigay nyo samin and as ive been pointing out in previous posts, just allow us to connect to the other servers [like we can before] para bumilis naman ang latency namin. thank you for answering all our questions [albeit indirectly] khupalkah meron ako dito isang Netbasic 1MB connection... try ko mag traceroute maya...

additional
and for more than 3 years experience... yung residential at business nila... halos walang difference... USAGE WISE... kaya makakatipid ka talaga if makakalusot yung residential plan if gagamitin mo sa business... ^_^
i think bayan is trying to avoid that... IMO what bayan is doing... is their way of segregating the plans is OK naman...
just my 0.02

just my 0.02 wow, malaki ang punto mo, na kabit lng ng kabit kaya nagiging congested ang lines, cguro kung magdadagdag cla ng bagong server kung saan makakakonek tau ng maayos, masosolusyunan na ang problema, pero as of now gnun pdin ang koneksyon ko, slow pdin. *sob*

OMG! OMG! they heard us.
I was browsing the net, suddenly i can't browse any website so i randomly tracert a few sites. It resulted to a lot of RTO outside bayans network. But then, after 10-15mins, i tried to tracert WoW servers and a few sites again, and Oh my gulay, I COULD SEE MY USUAL LATENCY. (soz caps, lol)
Patience is a virtue sabi nga ni Miko. Anyway, I hope tuloy-tuloy na to and not temporary. =) Will try to observe it until tomorrow and post updates here.

I do not know if you guys have tried this:
Leatrix Latency Fix.
I saw it in a WoW Forum. You guys can try it. Just be careful though since I think this is a tweak.

I have had that installed since October. Helped immensely before. But the problems experienced in Feb seem to negate the effects of Leatro though. :p
