1 month na KAMI naghihintay, KAMI as is marami. Also, does bayanDSL feel sorry for their services?

We already gave an update on this on the online gaming thread. We already advised that currently the APCN 2 cable does not have any ETR yet. We also advised that there was a 4 way re-routing done. Not that we are saying that this is the cause of the problem but definitely it will affect things. I remember responding to your bootless post on this and even advised you to update your cognitive faculties regarding it. If there are new updates, then we would have posted it already.
As much as we would like to be specific about this nor that of Bayan, but if the repairs done are not within their boundaries, then by all means they cannot provide the data to you. And further, if you do not want any form of "follow up" advise, then go directly to the technical support hotline. They are still the main support arm of Bayan DSL. This is just a Forum. The most that you will meet here are your fellow subscribers. Only 3% are from BayanDSL. There is a big difference between an online technical support and a FORUM and any disciplined person knows that. You should be congenial to your fellow subscribers since they are still trying to provide you updates in the best way they can. You always have the option to go directly to Bayan if you are not imperturbable about this. We have been very clear about the scope of support that we can provide in the Forum. This is even in the rules, assuming you have glanced over it.
By the way, I do not appreciate your inflection in the post. Your predilections do not really lead to fecundous discussions in the Forum. This is a Forum. Anyone who wants to update your thread, as long as it is within the rules, they are allowed. FYI, the moderators can reply any time they deem necessary. Further, it is NOT you who can set the rules. The moderators do. Please harbor that in your thoughts. Thank you.
As for looking for speedtest, and other stuff, that is not for you to bid. Being a member of the Forum, you are bound to follow the rules or directives given by the moderators. Coadjuvancy is the best disposition you can have in the Forum if you are to get anywhere.
The moderators will update this again as soon as we have any updates on this. Good day!!!Christer wrote:1 month na KAMI naghihintay, KAMI as is marami. Update as of March 18:
There are currently 3 subterranean cables that carry traffic for internet users in the Philippines going out of Asia, the EAC, APCN2 and the Intra-Asia network of cables. As of March 17, only the EAC cable and Intra-Asia cables are operational, with the EAC being restored under normal operations by March 31 2010. The APCN2 cable as of 1AM March 17 suffered additional major cable breaks that rendered the Philippine Islands temporarily isolated via the APCN2 cables. To augment this, a 4 way re-routing was done as indicated in our previous updates, with our connections being re-routed to Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Australia to bypass the APCN2 cables. The repair vessels slated to fix the damages of the APCN2 cable is due to arrive at the affected areas by March 19 2010. There are no ETRs established as to when the APCN2 affected segments will be fully operational. Internet services in the region will remain operational due to the re-routing of internet traffic done to bypass the affected areas.
Further updates will be provided as necessary. Please note that this update is only for registered Bayan Forum Members.
