Last Jan. 28, 2010 I requested for a transfer of address. Then after 2 weeks finally my phone was transferred to my new address, with a very long delay. February 2010 I didn't receive any billing statement for my phone, so I just paid through my BPI online banking even without seeing the real amount of my bill. Now, today I was trying to place a call when suddenly I heard a voice rec saying my phone is temporarily disconnected. I don't get it. I don't even know when to pay and how much since I dont get a billing, and I wonder why I'm not getting any billing statement either.

I tried to contact the 4121212 hotline, so many times I got disconnected for reasons I dont understand.

I dont know what the heck this is all about, but I need my billing statement address to my new place. It's not my problem if you cant keep your records straight. More so, it's not my problem if your personnels are so inefficient in keeping the records. I dont like being bothered by your very inefficient staff. If your people needs training, then give them what is necessary but dont ever bother your subscriber due to your staff's inefficiency.

My account number is 324411518 and I am requesting for my billing statement notice ASAP. Your company has no rights to disconnect my phone unless you show me such billing statement.

This is a Forum. Unfortunately, this is something that you need to settle with the customer support hotline as this will require validation of the account. This is a forum and we do not deal with account validations here. We only do follow ups here either for phone issues or DSL problems that have been reported to the customer support hotline or the technical support hotline. There is a big difference between a subscribers' Forum and the hot lines intended for such things. Record keeping is done two ways, the one giving what needs to be recorded and the one keeping it. Don't you think it is proper you also check with them directly whether the correct address was given? If not, then by all means have it corrected. The people at Bayan is a nice group, based on my experience so far. Sometimes, it is how we deal with them and how we come across and get our point understood. The attitude makes or break. After all they are also human, not just a company. Efficiency also dictates that it is a two way street.

You may also visit any Bayan Center near you so you can get this settled. Thank you.

Moving to Others: Concern is with Billing Address, not with Phone Technical Issues.

For your DSL/Phone concerns please call the hot lines FIRST before posting it in the Forum.
This includes requests for port resets, DSL connection footprints (ATT and SNRs), requests for technicians and repairs.

I just wonder, they were able to transfer the phone to my new address but were not able to make a record of the new address? What kind of system is that? You ask me to call the hotline, when I always get dc and cant reach the hotline. What do I do here? It's their responsiblity to keep their records in as much as it's my responsibilty to pay my bill. But how will I pay when there's no invoice?

I remember when I had a problem with the telephone and I had no dial tone. And yet I was able to call them using my celphone. Yes there were times that I could not reach them immediately, but patience is a virtue and I was able to reach them, specially I am not the only customer who is trying to reach them. I am not the President of the Philippines that people will stand at attention at my beck and call. It is after all my responsibility to inform them of my problem with their service.

Mr. Exasperated, Yes I am telling you to call them because we can only do follow ups here in the Forum. Kindly please read the rules since your demands are definitely out of the Forum's scope. I already explained to you why it is moot-and-academic that you call them. At the same time, if you are having problems with the connection, you might as well inform them thru the hotline or you may even email them thru: customersupport@bayan.com.ph. This is a Forum, not an online technical support. Any disciplined person knows the difference.

Further, I did not say they were not able to take note of your address. Technology is not perfect. Something will always and is bound to go wrong.

Just my tip: coadjuvancy will definitely get you somewhere, not just making exactions in the wrong places.
