Hi. This happened to me a couple of minutes ago (first time I experienced it), and I was wondering if there was a problem with Bayan's connection in the QC area. What happened was I tried to get online and when I clicked on the Bayan software, it puts up the usual Connecting to WAN Miniport, then stays there for a couple of seconds. Then it goes to "verifying username and password" and then gives you the error connection. I tried power cycling the network but it still gave me the same problem. So I waited for some 10 minutes or so to reconnect and I finally got connected.

Was there any problem with the connection here in the QC (Cubao) area? Is it gonna happen again? Thanks.

I was online during the time that you encountered the problem. What was the error? As far as I know I do not know of any service interruptions in the QC area. If and when you encounter the incident again, you may want to take note of the error that you encountered, the status of the DSL light on your modem, and then call the technical support hot line. Thanks. Angel

The Forum is NOT an Online Technical Support.

This includes requests for port resets, DSL connection footprints (ATT and SNRs), requests for technicians and repairs.

Ano po yung error message na lumabas? "Verifying username and password" is not the error message, it is simply saying to you that the server is still verifying if your username and password is matched in the server. If it is match it will prompt you "Authenticated. Registering your computer on the network" but if it did not match it will prompt "Access Denied because the username and/or password is invalid on the domain" Verify your username and password in your dialer, try to retype it correctly and if still same error prompts call the hotline to check if you are using the correct username and/or password.
