greetings.

I have a LinkSys WRT54GS router too, and here's what I did to get them both working at the same time.
(I assume you have basic knowledge in fiddling with the settings and whatnot)

1. Connect to the linksys setup page, whatever ip you might have set it up with. (usually 192.168.1.1)

2. Change the linksys ROUTER IP address to 192.168.1.3 (previously 192.168.1.1)

3. Change your ip to static (previously Automatic DHCP)

IP:192.168.1.1
Subnet:255.255.255.0
Gateway:192.168.1.1
DNS:leave blank

4. On the wireless page, set the SSID to be that of bayandsl's

5. Connect the ethernet cable from bayantel modem/router to one of the LAN ports of the linksys router. yeah that's right, LAN port.

6. If everything is done right, your linksys router should have a WAN IP of 192.168.1.2 and you should be able to access it via 192.168.1.3.
bayandsl modem/router is still accessible via 192.168.1.1.

Now if you are having trouble with the wifi security, you might want to consider turning off its wifi functionality, rely solely on the linksys router or explore the Wireless MAC Address Filter way. With that, you can turn off the wireless passwords, and filter devices via mac. That way you can be totally sure that no one gets in except the ones you allow and manually add.
You're still susceptible to MAC Spoofing, but hey unless your neighbor is a certified hacker then you have nothing to fear.

Sir sinubukan ko to pero di ko ma-save yung settings pag nagstatic IP ako. Palagi lumalabas yung message na "The WAN IP address is same with the LAN IP address! Please check them again!".

Lam mo lhat ng gusto mo gwin posible yan. Nasa settings lng yan. about dun sa cnsabe mong IPv4 ?

I was about to post na palitan mo yung IP address ng router mo. Hehehehe...
Nice at naayos mo na.
Most routers now have defaulted their router IP addresses to 192.168.1.1. Conflict sa router IP address ni Bayan (modem+routers in one na ang binibigay nila).
