Dude... I have seen your threads, and what happened based on your feedback and your post. You have some issues there concerning your PC. Unless nag reformat ka na since the last time you had problems. But some programs like your browsers are not behaving correctly, yet you get the right speed. When a subscriber gets the correct speed, has browsers not working properly, the problem is the PC.

well it depends kung saan mo gagamiting ang browser, if you're an ordinary web surfer, Internet explorer, opera and google chrome are the preferred browser, pero if you're into serious surfing, online reasercher ka, seo or what else, might as well use firefox since ang dami niyang plugins, if you'd ask me what is my preferred browser,i'd say opera for my personal websites, google chrome for downloading and firefox for my research, pero ang internet explorer, burado na sa laptop and desktop ko, kainis kasi ang update eh...

Guys,

Being active in the Opera Forum (I post occasionally but I read a lot of stuff from there), the Opera 10 browser has some problems when it comes to websites with a lot of flash animations. I myself have experienced what some people have gone thru about the browser. It has a tendency to eat RAM as one continues to surf the web. My record high is at 496Mb and I only have one tab open. But that was after 2-3 hours of surfing the web already. I rotate my browsers weekly so that I would get a feel of how to use them. I don't use Safari though as I find it to be bloated a lot if it is running on a non-Mac OS. My friends who use Mac tell me it is really a speedy browser and not a memory hog in their systems.

As for the Opera 10, I still have no word from the makers of Opera. The talk is that there will be an Opera 10.10 release to address that. But still, till they get it out, I guess we all have to wait. The funny thing though is that, some people don't experience this problem. But then again, that is to be expected as well have different surfing habits. Will update you guys on this if I see any developments. Hehehehe....

For me it's Firefox and Opera. But in the near future, ini-expect ko na bababa ang rank nila. Dahil sa tingin ko, the more na sikat ang isang software, mas marami ang nagkakainterest na gumawa ng illegal programs and scripts (viruses, malwares, etc.) against it. It's an arms race ika nga. The more na tinataasan mo ang bakod mo to protect your castle, the more na gumagawa ng weapons ang mga intruders mo with more firepower. Angel
Pero sana hindi mangyari yun dahil sa tingin ko napatunayan naman ng mga Firefox and Opera developers na that they can always catchup against their intruders.
So folks, always uptade your softwares. Drool

I personally am a Mozilla Firefox fan. Compared to IE i find it much easier to use and have found it to be much faster and have less problems than IE.

Safari is a product of Apple Macintosh. There is a Safari for Apple, there is also a Safari for Windows. The two versions are not interchangeable.

Safari uses a Webkit Rendering Engine, which is the same as Google Chrome. Firefox uses Ghecko Engine. Opera uses Presto. Just a small set of tidbits.

Yes. Apple makes software compatible with Windows. Other than Safari, they also made Quick Time Player and iTunes, just to name the more popular ones.

The New Version of Opera (as of this writing, Opera 10.53 is the stable version) is actually very fast. Currently testing it and there is a noticeable difference between Firefox, Chrome, and Safari. But if you have limited memory, I do not advise you use Opera as it has a tendency to gobble up memory, sometimes even as high as 600Mb if kept running for a long period of time. Restarting the browser usually solves it.

It's a Bloatware! 600 MB of Memory? Grabe.. Napaka-bloated naman pala ng Opera. Para kang nagopen ng 15+ tabs ng Youtube pages if you are using Firefox.

Yup. This is the common complain with Opera. Safari can consume as much sa 400-500mb if kept open also for a long time. While Opera (10.53) and Safari (4.0.5) are faster now (with their new versions), their memory consumption is one common problem. Although with Safari, the memory bloat does not happen on the Mac. It happens only with Windows. Hopefully with their new version (4.0.5) the issue with memory bloat would have been addressed.

The forum of Opera says that the reason why Opera sometimes consumes so much memory is because it keeps a record of all the websites we visit in case we decide to reopen them again like in the case of accidentally closing the tab. That is cleared though when Opera is closed. Although, I still believe it is too much. I still use both though since I have a tendency to get bored with just one browser. So I rotate them all. Not to mention that being a moderator here, I need to be up to date even with the browsers, which is the most common thing that people use.

Trending na ata yan basta bagong software, me tendency na kumain ng memory. Even Firefox on occasions have the tendency to bloat on occasions, specially if it has been kept open for quite a period of time also. But so far, it is the leanest.

Chrome does use up a lot of memory also but having a very efficient memory management software in itself does make it very functional in terms of being a browser.
