Hi!

Wala pong dialtone ang phone namin and wala rin kaming Internet connection since October 02. Sabay silang nawala.

My projects rely heavily on the internet. The semester is about to end, and the deadlines are fast approaching.

Hoping for a fast action. Thank you!

If I remember it right, the report number is 4011044.

by the way, a neighbor recently told us na a week ago (friday) daw, may mga lineman na dumating at nagtanggal ng dead lines sa area namin. Fastel yata ang name ng contractor. napaisip tuloy ako na baka nasama sa mga tinanggal yung amin, kasi i can't think of any reason para mawala nalang ng basta basta ang landline and internet. unang-una, wala namang mga nabuwal or submerged na poste or switches. pangalawa, ang mga kapitbahay naming naka-bayantel, may dialtone naman ang mga phone nila.

Update:

Hindi pa naman tapos ang working hour ngayong araw, kaya umaasa ako na maaayos nila ngayong araw na to. ~_~;;

Day 10:

Wala pa ring dialtone and DSL. T_T
Hindi pa ako nakakatawag sa customer service, ang gastos kasi. Fifteen pesos ang binabayad ko sa payphone sa tuwing tatawag ako sa hotline ng Bayantel. -_-;;

Update:

I completely inderstand your situation. I really think there is a problem with closing of tickets.

I think bayan should take a look at this matter.

Yes, may new fault ticket number na binigay. Though namisplace ko na ung piece of paper na pinagsulatan ko noon. ^^;;

Update:

Finally, naayos na ang phone line namin. Funny thing is, habang inaayos ang aming line kanina eh saktong dineliver ang statement of account. >_>;;

P.S.

Napansin ko lang sa download speed. Bat parang bumagal yata?
I'm using torrent, madami namang seeds, kakaunti ang peers in fact. Ang max speed ngayon is 30kbps. Unlike before, 85kbps ang normal download speed ko. @_@;;

And naexperience ko din kanina yung maya't maya nadidisconnect. Geez.

edit:

There were some Forumers who experienced some problems with Torrents. Perhaps you can read their threads so you can get some tips on how to go about it if it happens again.

sobrang bumagal ang torrentz download..2 weeks na by iclickgraphics

and

torrent become so slow,,, by dnniwa485

For the DCs, please observe what happens with the DSL light when it occurs. Update us also here if we can close this thread already. I am glad though that it has been fixed. Medyo me mga konting delays in repairing some areas. I guess they are also preparing their equipments for future issues like this (the two recent onslaughts of typhoons).
