^^ sir pano kung unlimited na ung naka set sa torrent upload speeds mo, then around 5-10kbps lang sa upload.... at panong lalong lalo na kung TORRENT RIG lang gamit mo?! wala nang kaagaw sa bandwidth un... as in FULL TORRENT speeds lang ang pwedeng gamitin dun.... pano naman un pag bumagal pa ren?! ang point ko lng is.. oo wala ngang nangyayaring throttling, pero the idea of throttling lies beneath speed sharing... we are sharing speeds here, so pag sabay sabaw tayong gumamit, ano mangyayari?! ang tanong, dapat ba ganon?! is there any other way to broaden the bandwidth, by upgrading some stuff etc etc. if this is for a long term plan? nasimulan na ba nila? did they expect a certain amount of seubscriber before laying out the upgrade? if ever they are almos maxing out the bandwidth in an area, how come they still accepting subscriptions... yun lang yung mga point na gusto namen ilabas... atleast for other members to understand our plead... well not actually a plead.. but a qualm. you see, every advertisement from Bayan says, madaling magpakabit.. etc etc... up to 768kbps speeds for only this and that... burstable at this times etc etc... so yung mga kaawa awang new customer na nabilib sa bilis nang pagkakabit, maeenganyo, tama? pero pag dating yung up to 768kbps e pwede magsimula sa 100kbps UP TO 768kbps.... see the difference? high latencies on some very very congested areas... so kahit mag speedtest pa ko tapos results ko 500-600kbps ang makikita ko sa video streaming ko BUFFERING..... BUFFERING.... BUFFERING... frustrating di ba?! 0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0- and dun sa torrent test speed samples ko, di ko na nadugtungan, tanghali na ko nakagising kanina e.. try ko nalang tom.. pakita ko lang na yung account ko can reach certain advertised speeds at certain times.. pero napaka bagal most of the time... ciao! If you are familiar with "average swarm speed", with good settings and good torrents we should exceed the average swarm speed. The BT i am downloading right now has a 250KB/s ++ average swarm speed but i am only getting 5-10kb/s. And i am very sure i have good settings and good healthy torrents. Before, i was able to max out my download bandwidth. I can recall it reaches to 150kb/s. So definitely something must be wrong and it needs to take action.
If we can have solid update from bayan mods, techs, or representatives then i think it will really help us. Will they need our account numbers, phone numbers, address etc... to troubleshoot our problem?
Again, please do help us.

Some people don't have problems with their speed and they have issues with Torrent. So may I ask, why do you have to inject this?
To be honest, ANG DAMI MONG OFF TOPIC REMARKS sa mga post mo containing torrent issues. Can you refrain from doing that? If you have a lot of angst against Bayan, then by all means email them. But REFRAIN FROM PUTTING UNNECESSARY REMARKS in your issues about torrents. Pwede ba mag focus ka lang sa torrent kung me problem ka sa torrent... Sometimes the issues that you site in your torrent comments are not even related to it. Flaming na yang ginagawa mo eh... Warning on you for doing that. This is no longer a healthy discussion and it deviates already from the torrent application.

Either you are flaming again or is really having issues with your DSL connection.
If you have issues with your DSL account other than torrents, then create your own thread instead of injecting them here. On occasions you inject issues with slow speeds happening also in your account in your torrent remarks. Helloooowwwww.... Kung me slow speeds issue ka natural, babagal din ang torrent mo. So why not start your own thread blu. I am exasperated by some of your comments that are not even related to it in the first place, like congestion issues. Take note, some people are not in congested areas and they are experiencing the problem. So how is that even related to it? Congestion is congestion... And NOT EVERYONE HERE WHO EXPERIENCING THE PROBLEM IS IN A CONGESTED FACILITY. If ever the facility is congested, it will not be torrent that will only have the problem. You are a technical person you should know that.
This is as far as I am going to tolerate this. The moderators are doing their best already to attend to issues that are posted in the Forum. During the past few weeks that we kept this thread open, many have posted their comments and their issues on torrents. However, it has occurred to us also that some are slowly injecting issues that are not even related to the torrent issue. Thus, it is slowly turning into a flaming ground.
Such posts not only unnecessarily lengthens the thread but deviates further the topic as other issues are raised and as moderators try to address them. While other issues like slow browsing, intermittent connections, congestion and etc, may have something to do with torrents, this is not the thread for those issues and should not even be mentioned here. If you are experiencing those problems alongside with your torrents, then by all means, start your own thread. This thread is ONLY for torrents. Plainly put, you should not be experiencing other DSL issues like slow browsing, etc, but have issues with Torrents.
Posts that contain issues other than torrents alone will be automatically deleted. Post that contain torrent issues but mentions other DSL issues, will also be deleted. Repeat offenders will automatically be suspended. This thread will be heavily moderated from this point onwards.

after 2 days, ganun parin TORRENTS dito samin 20kbps on SOD, maganda naman ratio ko, has many seeds and peers Di naman kaya congested na area namin? suko na talaga ko sa Bayan, hahays!

During your SOD time, without the torrent application running, did you check also if you are within the acceptable speed?
Baka kasi me iba ka pang problems sa connection kaya nagkakaganun yung torrent mo. If you happen to have other issues with the connection, better to start another thread. We have limited this thread to just torrents.

During your SOD time, without the torrent application running, did you check also if you are within the acceptable speed? If you also have other issues with the DSL, like connection issues, better start a thread on that Sir.
Mikos yes, yes and yes pero ayoko na magpost ng sariling thread ko, napost nanaman ng ibang member eh, all i want is for bayan to take actions regarding "those" issues para naman sumaya mga may problems dito wala ako problem sa applications,viruses,etc, di ko naman pinagsasabay sabay browsing, streaming, Online gaming habang nag DDL ako

share ko lang experience ko kagaya ng iba....
napansin ko talaga biglang pagbagal ng torrent downloads kasi eto rin madalas ko gawin.. 10-20kbps... mabilis lang sya pag 3am-8am i think dun lang umaabot ng 70-80kbps
dunno kung ganito din experience ng iba
pero as ive read,, halos pareho tayo experiences...
siguro the best nalang is mag antay tayo ng results or mag post ibang admins dito to clarify these things

 all green.. smooth downloads on torrent. ^_^ ... ok 1 thing guys.. nahalata ko lang sa ibang routers, they have weak cpu so maybe hindi na kaya i handle yung torrent application. just what my friend brought from cdrking .. wifi router i guess. its running fine, but once you download some files in torrent, the router itself is restarting on its own.

yes sir maybe the configuration of the router is also a cause.. but what if we are directly connected to our modems.... @dnniwa485 i can also have that speeds on my account.. but again as i have said on my previous posts, during your unlikely time to use the internet. well of course its given that you can just let your PC stay connected up to the wee hours in the morning, if you dont mind your electricity bills, that way you can consume the speeds intended for your account... since you are only after your torrent downloads... but with surfing and other stuff, you can do it when your not doing torrents... but sometimes it doesnt seem so.. if you know what i mean.. ^do you know what QoS do, dont you? if you know.. then you get what im saying... im not having any kind of problems while torrenting.. im even seeding my torrent 24/7 using my laptop. and i can do surfing even, youtube is fine too. no buffer is being done.. tuloy tuloy lang stream nya.. btw: plan 899 dudes.. xD tapos na SOD .. kaya eto balik sa mabagal na speed T_T ... (tsh. i wish i can do sod trick. but dont know how to do it.. :D) updates:  my torrent download for non-sod.. T_T ...

This has been my point also from the onset. Not all routers have enough RAM to handle torrent applications. Thus, what happens is the torrent slows down. Not too many people realize that routers are also specially designed PCs. They have CPUs and RAM. The more open connections you have, the more memory is used up in the router. I have also noticed this when I changed the stock firmware of my router into a more leaner firmware and my connection suddenly increased in speed. When I checked the RAM availability in the router, it was now up to 6Mb. That goes down as I begin to surf to multiple sites, and do simultaneously downloads. That further goes down when I have one of my friends doing torrents via my wifi. This is what people should be aware of when they use routers. Torrenting is not a plug and play thing. Mikos If the modem is set to router mode, then chances are you will have problems with it. Since it is the modem that manages the connection and its CPU and RAM will have more to handle. And since torrent applications do use up a lot of open connections, the modem will be overloaded, aka choked. If it is set to bridged, then I guess I know what you will answer then, the firewall, the other applications have all been set up for port forwarding and QoS. This makes the torrenting applicaiton very difficult to troubleshoot.

Compared to the complains of the others, you still have pretty decent speeds at 50-60kb download. 
Only Plan 2699 people have the 24SOD, well they actually don't have SOD since their connections are burstible up to the Max speed available to their line any time.
