Type about:config in the address bar, Then look for the following entries, and make the corresponding changes.

1. network.http.max-connections-per-server =32
2. network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-proxy =16
3. network.http.max-connections = 64
4. network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server = 10
5. network.http.pipelining = true
6. network.http.pipelining.maxrequests = 200
7. network.http.request.max-start-delay = 0
8. network.http.proxy.pipelining = true
9. network.http.proxy.version = 1.0
10. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New then click-> Integer.
Name it nglayout.initialpaint.delay and set its value to 0. This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it recieves.
11. then close the firefox and open again. see your new speed.

Enjoy! :)

Disadvantages, conflicts or Firefox crashes, wala pa naman. RAM usage for my Firefox still on average - 90 to 150 MB in an hour of usage.

cool ^_^

If you have made a bad decision, don’t stick with it and suck the whole team down with you. Undo it if possible.

Same here. I still have not experienced any problems with Firefox with those settings. So over all it is fine. I love the performance by the way... Angel

Try mo po muna ito:

Punta ka uli sa about:config.
Sa ibaba nung address bar (It looks like another search bar), type "layout.initialpaint.delay". Kapag nahanap mo na ito, delete it. Then redo step number 10.

Yup! It's applicable to Mozilla Firefox v3.6! Angel
And just in case na hindi ka pa updated to v3.6, settings will carried over to your newer version of Firefox after updating it. Angel

Bat kaya ganun?

Applied settings will not speed up your internet. Pabibilisin lang nito ang reaction time ng mozilla firefox. Above settings only eliminates the delay web page displaying.

Download speed of internet videos relies to your internet speed.Angel

Nope. This is inherent to mozilla and its cousins like Flock.
