are you so sure it is bayantel's fault? have you even considered fixing it yourself? probable that you didn't, as evidenced by your whining.

With all your due respects, the able bodied moderator was just explaining what he has seen on your account and on your connection. Must we be so rash in terms of replying to it? There are after all, better ways to let our concerns across and register our complains.

Again with all your due respects, your fellow Forumer was merely pointing out an observation in your posts. Based on my observation also, majority of your posts in the Forum is normally found lacking in terms of compliance with the rules, often times the manner of which is similar to a rash behavior, tantamount to whining. Any educated person knows the difference between a complain and whining.

Furthermore, may I also advise you that you are in no position to advise your fellow forumer regarding his behavior. You may call the attention of the moderators if you think the behavior was inappropriate. However, none of the moderators that has responded to your posts find his post contrary to the rules. It is rather obvious in your post what your fellow Forumer is pointing out. May I suggest that you change your manner of posting as it is already not productive.

Granting that you have been experiencing problems with your connection, Jargonman already pointed out that based on your calls your last report to the hotline was just last December 27. Possibly that is no longer the case if you have made calls recently, and of course the absence of updates from you in the Forum given the circumstance, do prevent us also from knowing what is the real situation. It cannot be expected that we would know unless you do update us here, unfortunately, many of which your post were found lacking.

You always have the technical support hotline should you need to report the problem. May I also suggest that you be mindful of your fellow Forumers and your manner of posting as it is no longer becoming productive. This has been the common observation with the threads that you open, which is contrary to the rules especially if it is on the same topic. Kindly read the rules and know them by heart as it governs your participation in the forum.

Just to be fair to all, I would like to point out to Sir that I requested for your account number last January 21st, as seen in my reply to your post in your other thread with the time stamp: Thursday, January 21, 2010 1:57:37 AM.

And based on the time stamp bearing your account number: Thursday, January 28, 2010 2:11:06 AM, may I politely ask, don't you think it was rather too long for your to have complied, taking around 8 days to comply with the rule and the request considering you have replied or posted a few times already in the Forum after that?

The rules are in place to make the work of the moderators efficient, as well as the Forum effective. Our habit of not complying with it can sometimes hamper the speedy response. Please note also that the moderators have other concerns and Forumers to attend to besides you. Thus, it is very important that we have a cooperative behavior in the Forum as this helps each and everyone find a possible solution to each of his own DSL issues.

We cannot expect a speedy response if we ourselves do not do our part conscientiously.

Please be advised and be more mindful of your posts next time.

@fatherALEX: haha! neither do you kaya whine kayo ng whine ;p hindi lang kayo marunong mag-ayos ng pc, gumamit ka pa ng name na hindi mo abot.
you know what, i once had a problem. found out its a virus. i researched.
mabagal pa rin, so i googled the problem. found helpful tips and settings. i researched.
di pa ako satisfied. i researched on tweaks and utils. bumilis! i researched.
eh may port forwarding pala. ayun. i researched.
hindi na ko naddc, mabilis and internet, super fast dload speeds any given time of the day. mahina yung 60 kbps. research!

i didn't whine, not for once. nor i used any stupid biblical reference to flame (which is by the way so low) mods (which is way lower).

kaya ka hindi tinutulungan eh kasi you don't help yourself. you even complain on the wrong post.

With all your due respects, if you learned anything in the seminary, you know full well that you should not even do this. And if you are really a priest, you know full well also that posting such a remark is very uncalled for specially for someone who is supposed to represent a religious way of life.

Makes me wonder, there was recently a retreat for priest... Was it effective? Hmmm...

Then again, this post is considered as an off topic remark and tantamount to flaming. Please be more mindful next time.

Any educated person knows the difference between an alibi, an excuse, and a reason. Based on your post and how you have conducted yourself in the Forum, this is rather an alibi, a flimsy excuse. You were able to post after I requested for your account number, even arguing several times. Yet a very small account number cannot be given in your post? Surely, if you were able to post after I made the request, a simple 9 digit account number could have easily been included in those posts. Take note, many of your replies after I requested for your account number were more than 9 digits.

With all your due respects, please come up with a better reason. Had you posted this earlier, it would have been easier to follow up. Surprise!!! You can posted so many things thereafter the request but a 9 digit account number cannot be included... Hmmm... I wonder....

Anyhow, I will make a follow up on this. But please be mindful again of your posts.

Yup... Those are 9 digits which I noticed you had such a difficult time posting when you can post messages containing more than that....

Kindly please leave religion out of this. That remark is almost flaming... We can refrain from making such comments.

This is a Forum. You are dealing with your fellow subscribers. A little respect is more or less suggested on your behalf.

Further, I am comfortable with the English language more than I am with the vernacular. I am not forcing you to reply in English either. You don't have to make a big concern over it. To each his own please...

I know you have done the suggestions... I simply stated that it would help. The assistance of technical support is still necessary. Granting you had disconnection issues for a day or more, the hotline is open 24 hours. You can always call them. It is even suggested that you call them prior to making any follow up in the Forum.

Nothing can be resolved if we are a bit rash with the way we approch things since we can put across our concerns in a better way.

I have already made a follow up on this. Just wait for any of the BayanDSL Forumers or Bayan Moderators to update your thread since I have forwarded your concern to them

It is already 2010 and you are still the same old chum from 2009.

It shows in your post... Truly there is a big difference between whining and complaining. Do not blame your fellow Forumer if they make remarks regarding your posting manner specially if other people do notice it.

Rightfully said, it is ok to let Bayan know of our complains no matter how frequent... However, since this is a public forum, we just have to be a little careful specially with how we put things across. Diplomacy does go a long way.
