Hi. I need your help guys.

Modem: ZXDSL 831 Series
Router: Linksys WRT54GH

I've already read the following:

I think I have a similar problem with the latter.

When I first set up the router I used the CD provided with the router via laptop (our desktop's cd-rom isn't functioning).
It says it can't identify the type of internet used but there are options for me to provide (eg. PPPoE, username, etc.)

When that didn't work, I tried the manual set-up (http://192.168.1.1/) and followed Mikos' DIY, which also failed.

Please let me know what I'm doing wrong here.

Additionally, I don't understand how I should actually connect the router to the pc or the modem-router one. :( I just know modem-pc. Should it be that the pc-modem-router are all connected? or pc-router is fine? I'm totally confused.

Further, your BayanDSL modem should not be in the router mode. Simply put, can you connect to the internet using just your modem connected directly to your PC using a PPPoE dialer in your PC?
