Plan 899 is only good for one PC. It can support at the most 2 computers provided that when all the PCs are on the web at the same time, none of the PCs would be involved in internet intensive applications or surfing like video streaming, downloading, etc. In other words, if you use more than one PC with it, they would only be limited to just surfing if all of them would be up and running on the web.
Plan 1699 is at the most good for 2 PCs. This I have already tested since I have 2 computers at home and on occasions (rarely) becomes 3-4 (when my brother is around because of his laptop, and when friends come over).
Plan 2699 is at the most good for 3-4 PCs with 4 PCs pushing it to its limit. I suggest you limit it to just 3 PCs.
Take note, I have not indicated the use of the PCs for online gaming since that uses the bandwidth more than the usual video streaming. With my Plan 1699 I can play online games, do VOIP, and other internet intensive applications ONLY with one PC. Rarely do we have both computers engage in such intensive applications.
If you intend to use 3-4 PCs for online games etc simultaneously you will be better off with a NetBasic 1mbps Plan (or any of the business plans) instead of a residential plan.

IMO lang... kaya naman kahit ilan pa ikabit mo dyan... as long as meron pang extra bandwidth...
ex. Plan 899 with 10units pero check mail lang at chatting and online gaming (no youtube at ibang high bandwidth site)... IMO kayang kaya... pero you have to use the PROXY server ng BAYAN... mabagal kasi browsing ng BAYAN pag hindi SOD at naka residential plans kalang...
then sa madaling araw ka nalang mag DL ng mga malalaking files...

At least my opinion on this was based on the work I had before with customers who had guaranteed committed rate for their connections and field technicians in the US. The same can be applied for our local connections here. And I do not think 3 years of observation can be very misleading... Specially if the same results are achieved every time the known parameters for the number of PCs for each line are applied.
As for your indicated use here with the number of PCs connected simply relying on the extra bandwidth, this can be very misleading. We have to remember that extra bandwidth should not be relied upon as that will be used eventually. Granting even that you will have full committed rate for Plan 899, connecting 10 PCs and with the use you indicated, it will encounter problems.
I do not encourage the use of residential lines for business purposes like internet cafes hence I already made it clear in my response about the limits of each plans. We have to use the plans accordingly to how they are designed if we are to enjoy the services we get.
As for surfing and downloading files without SOD... I am able to do that and I have 2 computers. I am on a residential plan and I don't use the proxy. I also don't have problems downloading files, SOD or non SOD.

If you have complains with the DSL service, you should start your own thread. Post your account number and your set up.
