Philippine politics still has a long way to go in terms of maturity.
As long as the MASSes are drawn to popularity, and start using more of their thinking capacities, I doubt.
But we are getting there. Slowly....

Poverty will always be there, as long as one protect its vested interests,
as long as there is GREED for POWER and WEALTH, as long as there's
a line that draws the line between the Elites and the Masses, as long
as our Egocentric personality plays our character, even if we
matured in time, as long as there's a single one who cannot content
himself with what he have or achieved, the balance will always be
in peril, leaving those who cannot yield such acts on the less fortunate ones, poor,
as long as theres People who were EDUCATED enough yet they lack of VALUES and
CARDINAL VIRTUES, as long as they don't honor our Creator, as long as
those evil deeds were never tamed and corrected, as long as there is
WAR FAMINE DISEASE and HUNGER, as long as... THOSE PEOPLE'S
ADVOCACIES and OUTLOOK in LIFE is WITHOUT GOD... as long as..
Brick wall Brick wall Brick wall
