There is definitely some improvements since yesterday. Connections seems to be good starting at 12am (madaling araw) up to 10am, latency around these times is below 600ms.
Kanina 7am~8am, nasa 250ms ~ 300ms ako and borderline 500ms ~ 600ms 10am. Aside from those times latency seems to be around 550ms ~ 700ms, which when I tried, was tolerable on 10 man instances.
Hopefully konti na lang kelangan natin intayin bago maayos ng ng todo yung connection.
...
Nice timing btw, since I was already planning on applying for Globe Wimax yesterday. I was gonna try it out since meron silang money back guarantee if your not satisfied for the first 30 days. Pero nung nakita kong may improvement sa connection, I decided to wait it out a little longer to observe kung maayos na nga yung connection.

wimax is good i heard that also from smart....
wimax is like when they say you're 1mbs it will be 1mbs not lower not higher... just that...
sana magkaganoon nalang ang bayantel... mag globe na rin ako isang option ko yan or pldt mag wimax din ata sila
if no improvement can't take this no replay on emails...

Wiimax is terrible. They claim to be 4G but in reality are not. Plus the internet is capped. If you exceed your bandwith, your speed will automatically drop to as low as 256 kbps. A lot of consumers who took Wiimax greatly regret it. They are highly deceptive about their promotional offers. (Such as not clarifying whether or not the +1 mbps speed is only good for new consumers from Nov - Feb. But they advertise 3 months and not clarify that it is only Nov. - Feb REGARDLESS of when you joined.). Also, don't get suckered into their free trial. "Free" raw pero the moment mapasubo ka sa trial, ibibill ka na kaagad for usage. Hell, even smart bro is better than that garbage. Just look around the web, daming countries (not just the Philippines) are highly annoyed by how Wiimax handles their customers, and to a greater extent deceive them. 4G my ass. Their gear is "almost" 4G. But when did "almost" equate to "as good as".
Wag kayo magpaloko diyan. Such practices are borderline if not already scamming.

wew tnx for that info sir... so better pa rin talaga tong bayantel sigh:)
kasi 780 bill ko sa iba 820 tapos lahat kami illegal ahahaha -- i know off topic but same company naman hayz palpak talaga :)
sana maayos then lipat me sa sky plan 999 nila eehehehe mas mabilis daw un sabi nila :)

Wag kayo magpaloko diyan. Such practices are borderline if not already scamming. I think you're confusing Wi-Tribe's 4G connection with Globe's WiMAX, nabalitaan ko din yan. Wi-Tribe caps your download at 2gig then limits your download speed to 256kbps. As for Globe's WiMax 4G, so far wala pa kong nabalitaang download cap

1st post sa topic na ito.
magkakaron pa ba kaya nang solusyon prob sa connection? also a member of a casual raiding guild. even in the early morning hours latency hovers at around 600-700ms. pag mga 6-10am naman swerte na pag 400-600ms latency. afternoon to evening usual na 1k, minsan 2k latency pa, nakakahiya sa random dungeon, paano pa kaya raids? hay naku, sayang emblems at drops sa voa25, patay lagi sa lag.

I was thinking of Wii-tribe. >.> nabasa ko wii-max pero nag register wii-tribe. wii-tribe causes enrage and wipes. @tom There is no ETA on when it can be fixed. But rest assured it is being fixed. Wala lang kasi control ang Bayantel sa repair operations na yan, but their international partners do. So it's all on them now. I'm getting less than 1k ms. average is 600ish. in the early mornings 6AM-9AM, i average 300ms.

I wonder why there are times of the day that the connections are back to normal? which i believe averaging from 3am-9am based from a few posts.
I am nearly coming to a conclusion that there is a traffic congestion going on.. =) We are experiencing PEAK HOUR problems now like other ISP companies. Take note: we were not experiencing unusual high latency prior to the date that this thread started, and there was no peak hour problems. Most probable cause i can see is the advertisement around of FREE iWantTV for Bayan subscribers recently. Does anyone know when did the promo started, i presume "maybe" around when we experienced our issues.
I am into isolating the problem and observing anything as much as i could. =) LFM observers.. =p

think it got worse. played this morning, latency hovered at around 700-800ms. tried to play this afternoon, latency spikes at around 1700ms at times, hence its hard to go do random heroics even. also, the line gets disconnected every 20-30mins or so. other members of the guild with bayandsl are also suffering the same problem, if not worse.
kind of hard to stay hopeful, esp as there's no assurance from the powers that be on WHEN this problem will be fixed. sigh.
