Kelangan mong sumigaw? I already warned you before about this posting behavior.

Forumer suspended for directly assaulting a MOD. As far as we know we provided what we could by following things up. This is just a Forum. There is a limit as to what we could do, no matter how much we really want to help.

Some guys are just blissfully unaware of their surroundings because they are too obsessed about a game which they let rule their lives. They don't see the big picture, nor have the ability or patience to understand
the complexity of the problem because "I HAS 2 PLAY NAO OR I WILL DIAF". They're kind of like mindless raging zombies at this point.

I don't claim to know any better than most of us here, but I would like to think I have a fair idea of what's going on. Though at this point it could be anything really. Sources of good information regarding this matter is tough to get nowadays. Action on such matters, unfortunately is really slow. That's the reality.

On a more positive note, I have noticed a somewhat less laggy connection. I don't hit 400 ms anymore. But the problem still persists because now I just average 350-380ms (tracert) resulting into 600-700ms. But whatever was applied seem to at least partially resolve the problem. Still able to pull of heroics. And weekly raids. But I have to get up early for it. (6-630AM).

Hi guys. I play a rogue (Horde) on Caelestrasz. First of all, "don't shoot the messenger." Mikos serves as the moderator and should be held to a higher regard, than you initially approached him. Na-ban ka tuloy.

Secondly, yes, latency has been messed up, but there are quickfixes for that. I'm using a trial account on wowtunnels, and people in pugs and even in my own guild are understanding enough to let me reconnect before boss fights. Haha, it's even made me raid "better", as I figure in the 40 minutes that wowtunnels has given me, I had to do my best to get that boss down.

Kita naman yung latency inconsistency eh. November to Jan, 350-400 ms without leatrix, and a sweet 250-300 on Leatrix. Feb to march = hell. Holy week = 250 ms on Leatrix, without any tunneler.

Shit happens. Earthquakes in other countries messed up the underground cables, but as I've noticed from the recent traceroute, the first 3 lines that are from bayan are ok, but it's just the collective international rerouting (lines 4-13) that are about 400ms. So when they (Bayan techs) say it's beyond their control, give them the benefit of the effing doubt.

Lastly, thanks for posting Mr. Mikos from time-to-time. Could you specify next time what specific US/Oceanic realms (may naglalaro ba sa atin sa Europe realms?) are back to that sweet November-January latency? It would be nice to give the wowtunnels a break. Hehe

Kami dito sa bahay, pag lampas 200 ang ping sa isang game basically we quit playing em and look for other ones with better connection. Maraming multiplayer game na gusto namin malaro but the connectivity issues will just piss us all off. So in short, maybe scout out for a different ISP with better connection to the game you want OR just stay with bayandsl and settle for whatever games na maayos ang connection using it. Atleast that is what we do.

Sinubukan din namin kasi maglaro ng WoW, may kasama kasing trial CD nung bumili kami ng additional Diablo battlechest a couple of years ago.

Angel

Internode has wanted Aussie WoW server for years.

Regardless of ISP, this is an ideal solution. But still seems quite far away (as I don't think they can make a case for it because Aussie population is certain, but perhaps not enough to justify the move since they probably cant get a fix on how many non-Aus will also be playing there like the countries in the SEA region. On a sidenote, things have once again improved a little bit. 550-650ms in game. Just a little more.

hindi ren...masyado lang kayo nagpapauto. i for one have applied to PLDT DSL AND Destiny Cable already, bahala na kung sino ang mauna sa kanila. I have been patient for far too long about this already.

Here are the results of bayan, destiny and smart bro tracerts to my WoW server. We conducted these tracerts on 2 separate occassions with the same results. Sayang di ko nahingan ng screen cap yung sa PLDT but it is almost the same as Destiny's.

Ganun? Why do I have a feeling that you are the same as Christer? So in this case, you shoot the messenger? Or is really hard for you to digest what is sometimes reality? It is really funny how some people could get bent by a game to the extent that they would stoop down. Whilst I understand people pay for their internet service, things should be placed, however, in their proper perspective.

Speaking of the tracerts, parehas lang kaya yung results.

hindiren, please post your old account number. If in your next reply, you do not, then by all means, you and Christer are the same. Bawal po ang multiple registration sa Forum.

And lastly, if this is your perspective, and following your logic, parang humanap ka lang ng ibang ISP kung san pwede ka ulit magpauto... Analyze what you just posted and if you are logical enough, you will get my point.

Thanks M165. Unfortunately, I do not play WoW. Right now, my nephew plays online games that are unheard of (like Priston Tale) and I for one just shuttles between Air Rivals or Ace Online. Ace Online and Priston Tale servers are either located in Canada or US, while Air Rivals are located in Europe. Since different online games employ different routes, it is really hard for me to tell what is causing the delay in WoW games. I can play those games though (yes... Mababaw po ang happiness ko when it comes to online games). I know for a fact that the APCN2 is up already by this time, and that there is the Unity cable about to go full operational soon having been completed towards the first week of April. The one thing that sticks to my mind though that my friends who are in the IT industry have told me is that, WoW has become an intensive PvP game already. Depending on the nodes involved in this, it does create a lot of latencies for other applications. Of course, they will not tell me the technicalities of it considering they are not working for any DSL company but they do play the game, some of which are on BayanDSL like me.

@hindiren

I know what I saw. The comparison you made here between BayanDSL and SmartBro are more or less the same, both with a lot of Time Outs and the latencies still within same range.

Do not attempt to register again. I ba-ban ulit kita hanggang matuto ka. You have gone far enough and I will draw the line here. If you cannot follow the rules of the Forum then by all means, GET OUT OF THE FORUM.

Ban me all you want. Alam mo kasi na may hindi tama at hindi mo na mapalusutan kaya yan ang last resort mo.

hahahaha huwaaaat??? more or less the same?? at ang kinuha mo lang na data yung sa smart bro ???

hayaan mo, next time magpopost naman ako ng sa sky broadband, pldt etc. then you will say : MORE OR LESS THE SAME RESULTS waahahahahahahahah made my day. seriously.

gusto ko lang matauhan ang mga wow gamers dito (and ang ibang customers na din), pls, wag kayong mag-pauto. wag kayo magsettle. alam nyo nang palpak, pero you wont do something about it?

ang daling tumawag sa ibang ISPs, magtanong tanong, meron mga ISPs na may free trial period para matest nyo kung mas okay talaga sa kanila. maraming paraan dyan. wag nating hayaan yung ganitong style ng pinoy businesses. they know filipinos have that tendency na hayaan na lang kaya nawiwili ang mga ganyang companies.
