The following shall be implemented immediately (as approved by Admin and the moderators):
Thread management:
1) Threads opened shall be given 7 days to remain active from the last update made by the thread starter, another forumer, or moderator, after which it shall be closed. 2) It is the responsibility of the thread starter to keep his thread active either by updating it or by bumping it (applicable to rules concerning bumping a thread). 3) A thread can be kept open more than 7 days from the last update if: 1) The thread starter request it provided the reason is valid, 2) A moderator declares the thread to remain active. 4) These rules will only apply to threads posted in: Bayan Tech Support Section, Bayan Internet Zone, and Bayan Wireless. It will also be applicable to Computers and Gadgets and other threads/sections where a problem or concern is being brought forth in the Forum (like router issues, etc). 5) Closed threads may be re-opened by sending a PM to any of the moderators.
6) Threads or post concerning the DSL connection, phone problems, wireless phone connectivity issues, and anything related to the DSL connection MUST COMPLY with the following:
a) Account Number posted in the thread. b) Thread must contain the set up (like forumer is using a router, direct PC to modem connection). c) Must have reported it to the technical support hotline (for DSL concerns) or the customer support hotline (for phone concerns), either thru phone or email. Post applicable report numbers or fault ticket numbers, as well as advise given by the hotlines where applicable. d) What has been done by Forumer to resolve the problem.
* Post or threads not complying with such requirements shall not be allowed for posting, shall be automatically deleted or be closed after due consideration.
Please note that such rules will be in effect immediately.
