It is not an off topic remark. It was meant to address what you posted and is still in line with the development of your thread. From latency of online games, it developed into rebates since most people cannot use the connection for online games, and that is being used as basis for asking about possible rebates. The reply simply meant to correct a general statement made by you regarding the net being totally unusable.
The replies I make are direct to the point initially. However, there are instances when I have to sugar coat the post as most people do not appreciate being told a straight forward answer. The fallacies is one way of showing there is something wrong with the post. We should all be responsible in terms of how our post comes across. After all, it is being read by a lot of internet surfers.
Your professor is right. Now, please apply it.

I saw it in a WoW Forum. You guys can try it. Just be careful though since I think this is a tweak.

I guess you meant that Bayan should do a maintenance check.
Sorry if I have to set it correctly. I am not from Bayan.
Although if there is a problem, how come not everyone is affected. There are people still that can play their online games and these games are hosted abroad. I am not saying though that there is no problem. I can see there are people experiencing it with online games.
The problem with some online games is that they have become intensive peer to peer connections. And we all know that peer to peer connections are bandwidth intensive applications and may cause problems if there is a size able group connected to one node and thus create problems for those connected to the same node. At least yan yung sinabi sa akin ng isa kong friend sa IT in my previous work. sir i suspect na kaya mataas ping dahil siguro nagsisiksikan kame sa pag kuha ng bytes sa inyo? kasi i just got home 4am tas try ako mag log in then i was shock na nag ping ako 100ms below then i play d muna ako natulog kasi once in a blue moon lng un then inabot ako ng 8 then mga 8:30 pumalo na ng 300 tas habang umaandar ung oras tumataas rin ung ping baka dun nag katalo..

kaya wag sasabihin saken ng 4121212 na "sir nabibigay po nmn ung maximum speed na binabayara nio bka ung pc nio po ung problema.." wow heavy un medyo naasar ako kasi nka corei7 ako 4gb ram 2gb video card nvidia ethernet 100mbps pero cyempre chineck ko p ren nag reformatt ako bumili ako mas mgndang lan card see the effort guys para lang d masabing pc ko me problema... nung nalaman kong pumapalo pla ng 100ms pag madaling araw nabwisit ako kala ko pc may problema ung line pla..

Hello, me too, last night unexpectedly I experienced (and still does as of this typing) a good dl speed (60-90kbps), no lag from 2 ragnarok private servers (when I tracert and ping the highest was 280ms)... Halleluya ^_^
Offtopic:
When I connected via SOD last night, the latency soared to 360ms and the download speed was cut to half like 30kbps.. Well atleast I hope everything is back to normal :d/
