confirm ko lang kung nagloloko ba proxy ngayon ng bayan?

I think there's really a problem. Kanina oks yung proxy then di na nagload page then up again then wala na naman. I rely on proxy para sa faster speed. pag wla nako parang dial up connection ko. pa confirm pls.

WT! Anu ba naman nangyayare sa proxy bigla na lang tumitigil browsing ok naman kanina tapos bigla na lang nawawala yung connection although its connected. Tried rebooting w/c i usually do to have proxy back but its not doing anything this time anu ba yan!!! I mean connection should be improving since you guys are getting a lot of subscribers recently pero baliktad. Habang tumatagal palala ng palala.

1. Before SOD were faster specially for Plann 1699 and customer should expect it to be faster but instead you lower it down.
2. The proxy server keeps on getting error.
3. Connection is affecting router as well?

Supposedly
1. As time pass by as for your loyal subscribers you should have put up a higher SOD not cutting it lower.
2. Didn't even give a warning or announcement than you'll be lowering your SOD?
3. As demands grow you should have maintained or should have improved for the better, but what is happening?
4. Catering more services should match up the service that you cater or go even higher.
5. As time passed by the connection is getting slower..?!
6. Pay attention to customers needs... As a service provider don't you think customer has the right or should we say always right?

I was hoping that this negative reasons should be addressed and looked up to. because as the time goes by instead of providing better service and better speed connection., You are providing us with much reason to look for another service providers.

I will however address this since some people have read it already. I am not a part of BayanDSL for you to be hurling that remark on me. I have always been very principled about my function here as a moderator. I have earned the respects of my fellow moderators, as well as that of the management of Bayan. They know I will speak out if I see something is wrong. They know how much I also bother them for the issues I see here in the Forum. For you to be making that remark without any proof and without even checking my background is really uncalled for. I feel offended by it and feel an apology is necessary.

I am not from Bayan's technical support and I am under no obligation to defend them. So who is making up stories now? Please bear that in mind. I need not provide an answer to a pretty obvious question.

Your PC being on 24/7 is irrelevant to the point. This is a proxy thread. For you to be posting your sentiments here is uncalled for. By the way, I do not see that thread you are referring to. I tried the link you provided. You could have just updated that thread instead of hurling it here. If the moderators do not see it, tough luck. We are doing so many things in the Forum. You can bump it up in case it has been buried already by other posts.

This is not the basis. Your results are still within normal ranges. You are also getting the correct speed in both instances. In Plan 1699, this is just normal. I get these speeds at random without a proxy server. I can still play online games with those latencies from the speed test. And take note, I am using a wireless connection via a WiFi router for the PC that I use for gaming. So this is not the basis. Still the speedtest you have shown here are still within normal ranges. Not too much difference if you ask me.

By the way, another off topic remark. The topic is: problems with the proxy. Not the difference between having a proxy and not using it. This is very clear.

Please align your post to the topic next time. Otherwise, sanctions will already be imposed. You are turning out to be a repeat offender already Sir.

Hahaha ewan ko kung pano naging out of topic kse PROXY yung tittle ng TOPIC so i think WELL RELATED PO ITO! At matanong nga po kita ilang taon ka na po gamer? Kse ako naging gamer ako right the start of to Ro mga 2002 or 2003. Tapos naging technical support ako for xbox live. Computer technician din ako. Nasubukan mo na ba maglaro ng xbox live? mara masabi mo na hindi importante latency?! or siguro naman nabasa mo yung latency for warcraft game na nirereklamo ren sa forum right now. Hindi po porkit mod ka tama ka lagi. Importante resoponse rate dahil dun nakikita yung loading ng game when your online.

mga bayandsl users na di gumagamit ng proxy paconfirm naman po kung nabubukas nyo www.mediafire.com (file sharing site)

sa akin di nagbubukas pag walang proxy. rapidshare naman 10 years download ko kahit ultimong maliit file. called bayan customer support a while ago. wala DAW problema sa proxy. tsk. nag pareset na rin ako ng connection ayaw pa rin kahit mediafire. any solutions to this? do I need a bayan technician?

sabi rin pala baka daw browser settings T_T sabi ko proxy lang naman binabago ko sa settings wala na iba. so pag nakaoff proxy nakakasurf ako kaso mabagal at di naglload ibang sites.

@pooru nung sunday pa problema ko eh doon nagsimula. tapos maayos uli tapos mawawala T_T haha wait ko uli sana mamaya ayos na. hassle tlga tsk

sirjamzn, it is not related to the thread. And do not insist. You are not talking to an average person here. You posted the difference in speed test when using a proxy and when it is not in use.

The theme of the thread: Problems with the Proxy.

While the title of the thread is "proxy" the topic is further narrowed down to problems with the proxy server. Thus, posting a speedtest with just the differences in using a proxy and one without is clearly off topic. It did not even touch base on the real issue which is the main theme of the thread.

Moderators have the final say in terms of what is included in a topic, and what is not. And your post is not related to the thread. Like I said, the speedtest you posted did not indicate anything wrong with using the proxy. Differences lang in the speedtest results with and without a proxy, which is not the theme of the thread.

Furthermore, your asking me about gaming is irrelevant to the point. This is not a gaming thread. I did not say that latency is not important. I simply stated that the latencies you got in those speedtest results are normal and that I can still play online games. I do not only play Xbox, I used to configure them for DSL for a living. I also did the same with Nintendo Wii, PS 2 and 3. So now you tell me who does not know anything about latency.

By the way, this is your FINAL NOTICE for posting off topic remarks. I have noticed that you do not seem to heed the calls of a moderator. Sanctions are imposed on repeat offenders. Further, may I politely remind you that the thread you opened did not also conform to the rules regarding the posting of problems concerning the DSL.

I cannot access www.mediafire.com without the proxy server. Prior to the cable breaks, I was able to do so with the without the proxy server. I cannot now. I tried using the proxy server. It is currently working.



If you are experiencing a problem using the proxy server, do you happen to know what IP address given to you by Bayan's DSL server at the time you were having problems using the proxy? You may check your Internet IP address by going to www.whatismyip.com. Perhaps the Bayan Moderators can check.
