By "proxy server" do you guys mean proxy.skyinet.net with port 3128?
Medyo patay sindi nga sya lately parang brown-out. Napaka-liit na bagay lang po yan and mukha naman temporary issue lang since this is not the first time na nangyari ang ganitong problem. Mabilis lang talaga uminit ang ulo ng mga tao ngayon gawa nga ng lintik sa init ang panahon na parang patikim na ng impyerno.
Suggestion ko lang po is kung hindi gumagana ang proxy sa inyong pag-browse, eh di tanggalin. Tama po ba?
You can restore your preferred settings anytime naman pag dating ng panahon na maayos na sya ulit and I'm pretty sure it won't be too long. Kung ikaw naman ay nakaka-browse ng net, play online games, etc. ng walang proxy eh tiis-tiis nalang muna. Mas marami pa dito ang mas malubha ang mga problema sa kani-kanilang mga dsl subscription.

Yup. They are referring to the proxy of Bayan. I would understand kung patay sindi siya ngayon. Due to the cable breaks in the EAC and APCN2 brought about by the earthquake in Taiwan last March 4 and the one that hit Chile last week, both cables have suffered cuts.
Many of Bayan's connections are being re-routed to the undersea cables servicing the route to Malaysia and Australia, and some are diverted to Indonesia and Thailand para iwasan muna yung mga affected subterranean cables. I think this re-routing has to be programmed into the Proxy then since it will use a different path now compared to the previous routes we had prior to the cable breaks.

tinotopak minsan yung DNS server ni bayan,, kaya eto naka google dns ako..hahah walang problem sa mga domain na papasukan ko.
