Hello Guys, I just want to share this to all of you. DFA is requiring an Appointment Schedule for their New and Renewal passport applicants. I went to DFA earlier and found out that their Consular Office (the division that handles passport services) transferred to ASEANA Business Park near SM Mall Of Asia in Paranaque. Along with the transfer comes a new passport application system. They no longer cater walk-in applicants, you need an appointment before they process your application.

I don't know to you people but I think this is GREAT, really GREAT! It will lessen the crowd going to the DFA, It will lessen the risk of being fooled by fixers and it will also lessen the chance of applicants going back and forth at the DFA because of problems regarding their application like lack of requirements. Applicants should first have all of their requirements ready before DFA gives them an appointment schedule.

Galing talaga nitong bagong service from DFA. Eto pa, for those who didn't know about the transfer and change of system, like me, who went to DFA today; DFA employees are there, ready with mobile phones, for applicants who want to have an appointment schedule onsite. O diba, who would think that a government agency can be warm and big-hearted like this. Other government agency should follow suit.

I'm telling you guys, if you don't have a passport yet or planning to renew you old one, mag-apply na kayo! This upgrade/change in their system is really the best thing ever that happened to a government agency.

Just call DFA Passport Appointment System (02) 737-1000 or log-on to www.epassport.com.ph to get your appointment schedule now.

Two thumbs up to DFA! Peace out!

Thank you alpha2525 for sharing this updates sadik!!! It will be a big help specialy for our OFW's

As of me I want to try this new changes Dancing ... but unfortunately I have may passport na , sayang sana ma experience ko for real yung bago hindi katulad nung dati grabe maghapon at ang init at ang tagal mong nakatayo pag nasa gate kana at naka tutok pa sa iyo yung araw.

One more thing may narinig ako when I was in middle east last time sa embassy may nag uusap about making the passport to card. Ang ganda sana nun kung possible mangyari sa madaling panahon atleast hindi kana pipila ng ubod ng tagal sa immigration pag first timer ka kung bago parang atm machine nalang ...hehehe!

But I think its possible but not now pa siguro because of backdoor sa rom, hacker can do realy read hexa and number pretty good... parang analog matrix with decrypting bit sequence... hahaha

impressive when you're filing your application. Done in a breeze! What's so disappointing is when you claim the passport. You don't even know until when you're supposed to wait! The passports are still inside the boxes and with the thousands of passports to be released in a day, they have to find a better and faster way to do this. Dapat a day before na nila man lang gawin ung verification and have like a good sorting system. Nasa boxes pa! Went up to the security guard just to ask how long i should wait. Sagot nya ah nagmamadali ba kayo eh di dapat nagpacourier na kayo... What an answer! That's not the answer. So i had to ask ah so do i need to wait a whole day, 2 hrs, ehrs? Kung may cutoff man lang sana sila and they go on batch locating of passports eh di say so. Hindi ung deadma lang sa mga nagaantay.
