Hello..I would like to complain about the download speed that our DSL has been getting ever since it was installed about a year ago. We are supposed to have a speed of up to 700kbps. But since this internet has been connected, we can only get up to 80kbps of download speed.
We did speedtest several times and we can reach an average speed of 500kbps there but on actual downloading of files, the fastest we ever got was only up to 80kbps. Please note that I had the same files downloaded at the same time from a different DSL provider and the download speed that I got was way much faster.
Attached herewith is the screenshot of the tests that I performed.

The speedtest result will only give you the transfer rate of your connection. This is not your actual download speed. If you are on Plan 899, 768kbps Plan, your actual download speed should be between 48Kb/s UP TO 96Kb/s. Thus if you are getting 80Kb/s you are within your Plan's download rate.

There is a difference between the speed and the download rate. They are not one and the same thing.
