eto yung current business plans ng bayantel...

updated the image...

3mb sa bayan is @ 10,299 pesos
sa isang competitor is only @ 2,295 lang with phone na yan... PLUS 4port WIFI router FREE na...

so is there "ANY" plans to upgrade the current business plans?

ADD:

eto pa isang competitor ni bayan

although wala siya plans na below 4k...
yung cheapest plan niya na 4k is @ 3.5mb
so yung bayan Netbasic 1MB @ 3,200 add ka nalang 800 pesos meron kanang DSL na 2.5MB faster...

Malamang... They made changes in their current existing Residential lines.

NetBasic 500kbps = Free (1)Wallet

NetBasic 1MB to NetValue 2MBPS = Free (1) Canon ip1300 Printer ( Mayroon ako isa. heheheh)

NetPro to above = (1)Wifi Router.

When I was advised by some people in Bayan late last year that they are into upgrading their data facilities this year, I knew they were already going to the right direction. Their goal in doing that was to provide a more reliable connection and beef up their plans. I will go with the reliability of the line. After having the problems sorted since I had the connection way back 2008, it was smooth sailing for me. And with the emergence of the new Plans, it made them more competitive.

You are right. It is not a good idea to be always upgrading the facilities as these are very expensive equipments. It is really the backbone that plays a big role here. And so far they are just one of the two telecomms that has an internet backbone in the Philippines (this info though might have changed already). But as they say, any upgrade is always a welcome boost to us who use the line.

@Xentar

also maganda naman yung connection ko dito sa globe i'm always getting the advertised speeds and this year lang they just finished rolling out yung FIBER OPTIC lines dito sa area ko... available narin daw yung 3mb na business and residentials... dami ngang nagpakabit dito sa area naman lalo nung nag promo yung globe....

and they are even widening their area... kahit yung mga barrios in between towns kinakabitan na nila...

@Mikos

How old are the bayan business plans? alam ko meron kayung dinagdag na plans sa business...

pero yung Netbasic 1MB and NetValue 2MB... yung DSL ko kasi was connected around Q3 2006... and malapit na itong mag 4years...

IMO these plans are really really good... pero that was a long time ago... the surfing habits has changes drastically over the years...

mas maganda sana kahit speed upgrades lang... you have already done it sa residential to be competitive... sana you don't forget about YOUR BUSINESS COSTUMERS...

kaya yung ibang mga cafe owners are either moving to other ISP or getting your residential plans kasi kulang talaga sa speeds yung business plans ninyo...

yung 2mb static + phone @ almost 3.5k/month naging 1,295/month PROMO nalang (1,595 yata yung NON-PROMO) + upgrade pa to a WIFI modem/router... ^_^

nag apply rin ako for another 2mb pero mukhang wala nang available... dami raw nagpakabit nung nag promo sila nung last year nag start...

Guys, not to be stopping your conversation, but the topic is already with the competitor. The moderators would appreciate it if the comparison is done privately. We have to remember that while this is a subscriber's Forum, this site is still sponsored by BayanDSL. Thank you.
