Hi guys,
Last Monday, my sister answered a phone call at our house at around 3pm. The caller told my sister of my dad's full name and said that they are in the makati police station in custody of my dad because he accidentally hit someone with the car. My sister told that it is impossible because our dad is in the US. Then they continued said that he went home to surprise us etc etc.. to cut the story short the caller is fraud. We were able to get hold of the number thru our caller ID.

Spread the word. Fraud nga lang yang. Wireless Landline po kasi yang number na yan. Malamang ang nangyari diyan, nawala ng original owner ang unit niya. At ang masama, napunta sa masamang kamay at ginagamit na ngayon sa panloloko. User, [yoo-zer] n. The word computer professionals use when they mean "idiot".

Took note of the number and emailed it to our BayanDSL Forumers and Moderators. Sorry but I have to remove the number in the Forum. Unless we get a legal advise on this like a police report that it was stolen or any legal document saying that the unit belonging to that wireless land line has been stolen, we won't be able to publish it here. There are legal bearings if in case the owner of that number complains. It is not that I do not believe your story as it is indeed a good warning. In this cases though, it is best if we report these things to the police, to the telecomms firm we are subscribed to and to the NTC.Jargonman wrote:jopet808 wrote:Hi guys,
