Problem

Kagabi Na Disconnect yong mga account dalawang Beses, around 9pm to 11pm. Sa tatlong account ko isa yong masadong Affected Tumaas ang ping 300ms to 380ms
since ako dito gumagamit ng Load Balancing Router, Isa Sa tatlong Account kong Bayantel yong router ko ay ignore niya tong WAN port na kung saan my Mataas ang Ping Rate, sa ngayon around less than 10 Percent lang nagagamit ko sa acccount nayan unlike Before June 23 90 pecent utilize siya.

To Prove to you na my Problem Nga sa Account ko, ipapa compare ko sa inyo Technical Support

Silang Dalawa ay located same Selves sa Bayantel Office. Alam ko saang Selves kasi dati ganito rin ang problema.

Nakikita niyo yong account number ko 339580391 mas maganda ang Ping test Niya isa pa Hindi stand Alone Test yan gingamit ng mga Customer yong Account nayan, Hindi ibig sabihin na kahit 4 Hops nayan hindi niyo PROBLEMA. Problem is nasa Facility Baka sa Hilongos Site or Cebu, alam ko nagbago yong Ping niya dahil sa Disconnection kagabi sa mga DSL Accounts ko.

a 280 to 400 ping looks normal to you, but before i was receiving before 150 to 240 ping.

Mahirap sabihin na ok since mga customers ko ay GARENA user, Online Gamer At Chatter makikita niyo naman Effect pag 400ms sa larong Garena or Online Games

Sana Matulongan at Mayos yong Problema.

If Ever I Plan to Disconnect, A Letter i Receive from CustomerSupport Or From This Forum i Will Photo Copy and submit to office. a Reason cancellation of this Account

Nai-report nyo na po ba yung problem sa hotline? Kung hindi pa naman I advise that you do so and monitor the connection while awaiting feedback from them. Mas mapapadali po ma-resolve ang inyong problema kung meron kayong fault ticket then post it here if ever kailanganin ng tulong sa pag follow-up. Paki update nalang din po itong thread ninyo regarding sa status. Salamat

Hindi ata ng Reply yong mga ADMIN,

Tinawagan kuna kahapon yong 181 5PM, Reset niya pero naghintay ako bumalik ang connection, in 1 hour after that ok nayong connection ko try ko yong ping, tracert, bandwidth testing. then after 4 hours offpeak time bumalik na ulit yong problem.

hindi ko kinuha yong Report Number kasi na ayos naman na simula.

na email kuna techsupport. ang mahirap maka intiende yong mga tao doon kahit my description na. sabi pa ng iba "Common Sense is Not Common"

First Report yong Mayproblem is "Stand Alone test" as comparison gumawa ako ng isang test sa isang account ko pero hindi na stand alone kasi my mga customer pero kahit pa maganda yong ping rate at bandwidth ang Account na walang problema.

Thank you for posting the screenshots relevant to the problem you are experiencing. However, it was not indicated in your post last night (date and time stamp: Thursday, June 24, 2010 11:57:30 PM) whether the problem was reported to the technical support hot line. Pursuant to the Forum Rules, any problem concerning the DSL must FIRST be reported to the Technical Support Hot Line before it is posted in the Forum, with the relevant fault ticket numbers, and account numbers included in the initial post. In cases where the post is deemed incomplete or not complying with the details stipulated in the rules, it is always the prerogative of the moderators to respond or not.

Whereas it is indicated in your initial post that your connection got disconnected at a specific time span, we would appreciate in the Forum if at least the status of the DSL light was indicated, and what steps were done to resolve the problem, both on the side of the subscriber, but most specially the advise provided by the technical support hot line when it was reported.

We would like to advise also that the Forum is a separate entity from the technical support hot line. The most that we can do here is to conduct follow ups with the concerns of the Forumers provided this has been reported directly to the hot line FIRST before it is posted in the Forum either thru phone or thru email (customersupport@bayan.com.ph). We would appreciate it if you did email the said screenshots with details of the problem you are experiencing to the technical support hot line thru the provided email address prior to its being posted in the Forum.

Looking at your tracerts, they are still within the average tracert of 200-400 ms. Ping stats and tracerts varies depending on the conditions of the lines, the traffic to and fro the target site, routing, load of the server being accessed and many other factors. It would have helped if the technical support hot line was consulted with their advise given here so the other Moderators may also know how to approach the problem in terms of conducting the follow up.

Since it was just advised today here that there was already an email to the technical support hot line, I am sure our Bayan Moderators will do the necessary follow ups.

In terms of troubleshooting, ISPs have what we call threshold values. As long as the account is operating within those thresholds the DSL line is said to be operating efficiently. This the reason why feedback from the technical support hot line is very important while the problem is occurring as they are the ones who see the conditions of the line.

The Bayan Moderators may directly reply in your thread. Thank you.

300ms to 400ms hindi ok like me na gumagamit ng Garema, mga Online Game like Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 at Battlefield Bad Company.

ano po ba ok na ping rate sabi ng Customer Support 200 to 300 ay ok, ikaw sabi mo 200 to 400 baka next time my ibang Mods mag sabi 300 to 500 or 300 to 600.

I hope Bayantel stick to thier committed Ping rate which is for me 58 to 250 is Accepted, you have a good Committed Bandwidth Unlike Goblelines they advertise for 3MBPS but you only Receive 60 Percent. but Globelines able to maintain their Ping Rate 72 to 300ms.

"So far OK NAYONG DSL KO, balik sa 58 to 250ms sana magpatuloy". Ok narin yong Status sa Load Balancing Router ko nakaka Receive ako 30 to 80 percent Packet Forwarded to Account Number 335827899, Depende sa Demand ng Customer.

I know Globelines Aggressive sa Globewimax nila but if you can deliver low ping rate walang kuenta paring yong offer ng Globe kung mataas ang ping. Its only good lang ang Service nila sa Porn since Video Steam at Downloading ng Malalaking Files, Yan kasi problem ng Globe ko dito Maganda lang Download at Video Pero Mabagal mag Display ng Page since mataas yong ping at my extra feature na nakakabagal ng pag display ng page.

Yan ang REASON bakit Apat nayong Mga Account ko I think One of Members Here Narmenia kumuha ng maraming Bayantel DSL dahil sa mababang Ping Rate ng Bayantel na Advantage sa Mga Garena Users, Online Games.

Anyway i would not email to CustomerSupport or Post in the Forum kung ok yong Status ng Line ko, importente dapat ako ma satisfied . As i said before Ok nayong Line sana magpatuloy.

The threshold latency acceptable for surfing is 600 ms. The average latency in the Philippines is betwen 200 - 400 ms. When we say average latency this is the statistical mean latency across ISPs in the Philippines. Acceptable latencies vary from one application to another. In my reply, I simply stated that the screenshots are within the average. It was NOT stated in my reply that the latency levels in the screenshots are ok for the said games affected. This is also the LOGICAL REASON why I asked if this was REPORTED FIRST to the technical support hot line and what was THEIR ADVISE. Such information would have helped the moderators approach the problem in terms of making the follow up.

We are glad that your connection is doing fine. We do appreciate your posting your concerns in the Forum. We would be in a better position to assist you through follow ups PROVIDED that in posting our concerns in the Forum, it is FIRST reported to the technical support hot line, with the appropriate report or fault ticket numbers posted in the Forum along with the account number in the initial post, pursuant to the rules of the Forum.

Sa-amin dito malaki talaga Issue ang Mataas ang Ping. Parang hindi kayo Consistent sa Customer Support.

Kagabi at Hat hapon Ok na Ngayon Bumalik Ulit i think Account Ko kung saan mang NODE or DSLAM naka Belong is Congested or Mayproblem.

Ngayon experiencing 300 ms to 600. pag ganyan we have to Refresh Page Again and Again Para lang mag Display

Eto yong ScreenShot ko Stand ALone Connection





Sababa is my Load Balancing Router. Connect kunayong account ko na Problematic sa Load Balancing Router.



Nakikita mo WAN 1 and WAN 2 is Bayantel OK yong Connection 800 Points is around 800kbs Download Transmitted

WAN 1 is a 2MBPS Connection so around 40 percent nagagamit niya
WAN 2 is a 1MBPS Connection so Around 70 percent nagagamit niya
WAN 3 is Globelines 3MBPS Connection Around 1.8mbps ginagamit ng Customer kasi Pang Video Steam langyan Like Youtube
WAN 4 is 1.5MBPS Connection ( ito yong May Problem) is 2 Points Less than 1 Percent, Around 2kbps

Bakit ganayan? kasi yong Load Balancing Router Direct Request Away from WAN 4, which is Lagging. Instead Forward to Good Connection WAN 1 and WAN 2

Pag Ganyan palagi parang wala ring akong WAN4 or hindi ko nagagamit yong Line niya Dahil Lag. Nakuha Bro.
Yan kasi renereclamo ko. Since yong WAN 1 and WAN 2 Ok naman 58 to 250 yong ping sa YAhoo, Facebook, Google, BBC , Twitter and etc.

Diffidently May Problem talaga sa Line nayan. Conguested, Hardware Problem or Sira yong DSL Modem sa Zytel.

Tatawag ako ngayon para sa Report Number at Send ako ng Email ulit. Advice talaga ng kaibigan ko sa Baytel, Yan kasi Problem ng mga Subcriber dito pag New Account Ok yong Connection, After One Year nagkakaproblem na. Sana kinuha konalang at naniwala ako sa Advice niya na magpa Disconnect at Pakabit ulit ng bago.

HIndi ko Pina disconnect kasi sabi ng Tacloban Branch they will do what ever they can to fix my problem (That Was First Week of May before the Election) na-ayos naman pero bumalik ulit after 1 and half month.

I already made a follow up request. It was the weekend, and basically we, moderators were a bit busy with many things.

Eratic talaga yong ping kahit stand alone nayong Testing.

300ms to 580ms nag kakaproblem narin sa Bandwidth out side philippines like Taiwan and Malaysia300kbps lang nakuku ha ko instead 1.5mbps. kahit offpeak ganon parin

Problem Still There i already submitted a disconnection letter, but confirmation by bayantel if i will continue will be next week.

Satoto lang Only time bumiti yong Connection ay yong Duma-an na BAGYO naka 212ms ako for 2days, ngayon balik ulit sa 350ms , talagang Conguested na yong liyan kung saan Sharing Segment ako belong sa Network Niyo.

Hindi magandang sabihin na ang kakampi ko ngayon ay mga Bagyong dara-an sa Luzon. pero ganon nanga kung titingnan mo.

Sinabimo mahirap, mag reroute kasi affected yong ibang line, Kung remove natin yong Account ko sa isang Segment then i transfer nalang sa Account 339580391
kung saan siya segment/Route Belong, para hindi affected yong iba. Parang nag pa reblock ako gagaya sinabi ng iba.

Kasi salahat ng Plan ko dito siya lang yong may magandang latency 200 to 300ms compare sa ibang account ko 300 to 550 na ngayon.

Kagabi compare ko yong tracerout sa Account na 339580391 at sa problemtic na mga account. na observe ko. maganda yong BTI at Asianet na ping 80 less kaso ounce pumasok sa network example first Hop belong to Yahoo "Time Route Siya" then sa next hop mataas na yong ping 281 the to 350 sa last hop. pero kung doon sa Account 339580391 walang time out sa First Hop belong to yahoo, nakikta niya yong IP nayon at ping nasa 180 last hop belongs to yahoo 230 lang.

Parang block/refuse to connected or negotiate sa problematic na account ko kahit sa ibang site ganon rin first hop belong to site nagkakatime out.

121.97.118.57 Ip address sa problematic na account ( bago connect yan wala pa mag one week)

HOP NUMBER 9 Time Out sa problematic na accounts ko. but unlike the Account 339580391 iba IP at segment ok siya. sa umaga grabe Poor performance ng Mga problematic na account ko 350ms na pataas.

Kung ma ayos niyo problem sa 121.97.X.X delang ako masusulusyonan sa problem pati narin sa ibang accounts na may ip addres 121.97.X.X im not sure kung same routed ba sila compare sa akin.
