ginstarwind90 wrote:When I went to Bayan Center, that's what they told me, Old Plan has 16 max sharing subscribers while New Plan has 32 as max. Since there are more clients sharing in New Plan the connection speed was roughly slow , He said that, lots of subscribers who switched from Old Plan to New Plan keeps on complaining regarding the connection speed. And some of them, intend to switch back from Old Plan, but that can't be.
I'm using 1,999 (1.5 mbps) Old plan. Still in doubt, if I'll going to upgrade into 1,999 (2.0 mbps) New plan. what do you think? Should i upgrade or not? It takes time for information to cascade from the Main Office to the Bayan Center. Most of the people in Bayan Centers are not really technical. They are more on CS.
Let me use myself as an example. I was on Plan 1.2 mbps (Plan 1699). Then upgraded to the New Plans, Plan 1.5 mbps (Plan 1499). Then just last Feb, I upgraded to Plan 2.0 mbps (Plan 1999). The CIR remains the same.
Just my 2 cents, noone can really tell you whether you will upgrade the service or not. No matter how much information we provide you, the final say will still be you as it is you who knows what you need. I am using the line of Bayan and a subscriber like you. Thus, I relate to you what is my experience, including the technical knowledge and updates I get being a moderator. It is up to you who to believe.

ginstarwind90 wrote:Yes, I already know that. The issue now is the discrepancy of information you guys give and the Bayan Center.
Whom should I trust utmost? Bayan Forum Mods or Bayan Center? Tama si Mod Khupalkah. It is only you who can answer whether you trust us or you trust those at the Bayan Center.
Let me explain:
Philosophically speaking, it is you alone who knows the criteria for you to believe that one source of information is credible. It is you alone that can convince yourself that one information is worth believing or not. In other words, it will all depend on your paradigm, your perception, your views, your values, on who to believe.
You are asking a question that is very subjective. We cannot answer it for you.
By the way, it would be unethical for us, Moderators, to put down the Bayan Center as they are also part of Bayan. Unless the information is obviously wrong, which we already corrected earlier.
Now who will you believe? That is not what we can answer. We can answer however, what is the correct CIR, and tell you that the 32 CIR given is not true. Now whether you believe us or not, that is entirely up to you.

If you guys just didn't know, or unsure just tell me. That's more acceptable answer than what you've said.
Anong mali sa sinabi ni Mod Khupalkah? His reply to you is sound, philosophically and psychologically speaking.
Hindi naman sinabi ni Mod Khupalkah na ikaw lang nag makakasagot ng tanong mo whether to upgrade or not or what is the CIR of the new plans. He quoted a post of yours. His reply is in relation to what you were asking, whether should you believe us, Bayan Forum Moderators, or the Bayan Center people. Only you can answer that kasi ikaw lang ang nakakaalam ng values mo. Kahit na ba sabihin namin dito lahat ng alam namin, kung iba ang pananawa mo at value system mo, din we cannot convince you. Whom shall you believe is entirely up to you. Gets?
I even gave you examples. Thus, it is very clear that we know what we are talking about. I even use the line, having upgraded to the new plans. Yet you still doubt. See what I mean? Ikaw lang nakakaalam ng value system mo. So regardless of how many examples I throw you or place here, if that does not fit any of your criteria to believe in something then we cannot do anything. So as to your question who to believe, ONLY YOU CAN ANSWER THAT.
Ask us what is the CIR of the new plans, we can answer that.
By the way, I am not here to argue. I am merely replying to your posts.

I saw your previous post in other inquiries. As the time of your posts we're indicated, you've made time to answer their inquiries. Although, my post was created earlier compared to them, still you've happened to answer them as soon as you could and disregarded mine. Somehow, you can't blame me for saying that.

Regret, sometimes is one of the hardest things to accept, when in fact, you can just avoid it. So, as much, as I can, I would avoid such risk. Yes, it is a highly subjective question to be asked and the last say will solely depend on me. However, if you value such a principle of "Nonmaleficence", perhaps you'll do the same. And get to the point on asking more questions, until you got yourself pleased and satisfied. As what you've said, we have diverse values, perceptions and views As such, We call ourselves as unique creatures. Anyway, I apologized, if I keep asking questions virtually the same.

I do understand where you are coming from. I used to feel like that when I myself was just a member in many of the fora (or forums) that I belong to in the internet. When I became a moderator in some of them, and later on, becoming an Administrator in one of the gaming forums in Facebook (just an application in Facebook we created just for our group), I fully understood why some moderators can answer some replies, while they don't get to with the others.
Usually if I am in a very busy mode, when I enter the forum, the first post I see, I try to answer it. If your posts went much earlier, chances are, we might not be able to see it. I just don't know with the other moderators. It is not ignoring it, but rather, in my haste to answer what the posts, sometimes, I just answer what I could get my hands on at that particular time, and attend to the rest when I have more time at my disposal. I hope you also understand us. Thanks in advance.

Anyway, I apologized, if I keep asking questions virtually the same. Skepticism can be healthy on occasions. There is such a thing as a calculated risk. When I upgraded the line, I, too, had the same questions. However, I basically had to base it on what I experienced so far, up to the point where I was deciding to upgrade.
Just focus on the options you have, the risk you are taking, and your options should what you "fear" happen. This way, you will always be on top of the situation.
