DIAL-UP on UBUNTU!

Are you a ubuntu user and you want to connect to blast?
It's easy to do, you must first have the requirements:
1. 56Kbps Modem
2. Internet connection, such as DSL or Wifi and must be connected
3. Ubuntu
4. Terminal

If you have now the requirements given above, we can now start downloading the installer.
1. Go to your terminal (Applications>Accessories>Terminal),
2. Type in the code:
Quote:
sudo apt-get install gnome-ppp

4. Wait for it to finish downloading and installing.
5. Restart your PC/Laptop

Congratulations, you have now configured your Dial-up connection

You can connect to Internet by Applications>Internet>GNOME PPP
Input your Username and Password and Telephone connection number.

Thanks!,

Once you download Ubuntu, me dialer na built in na kagad yan. Most Linux OSes have their dialers built in already. So there is no need to download an additional application just to make sure that the OS can have its own native PPPoE client. I mean after downloading and installing, the PPPoE dialer is already built into the OS kernel itself, thus not necessitating an additional downloads just to have a built in or native PPPoE client. It is a part of the OS just like Windows XP and later.
