connected for 2 minutes and got dc,almost 3 mins to reconnect! no fail of diconnecting everyday! Acct. No. 340345630

Have you reported this to technical support hot line? What was their advise? What happens also to your DSL light on the modem when you get disconnected? Do you have a direct modem to PC connection or you have a router connected? Kindly provide us the details of your situation. Thank you.

yup,they said they will send a technician.but they have been sending technicians so many times still nothing changes. may DSL light blinks when i got disconnection.direct modem to pc connection.i will call them again now. or I'll just report this to your main office here. I'm not satisfied with your service.

hi ! update mo po d2 kung ano na po ang nangyari ha please. same situation po kasi tayo. 2 months na rin intermittent ang connection ko e :)

alin po ditong wire?anu mga maaring gawin ko? di dumarating mga technician na cnasbi nila na darating naghintay na ako 2days na.tumawag nga ulit ako knina wala pdin dumating ngayon.

Like they said, are you using a router? If yes, how many computers are connected to the router?

If you're not using a router (i.e., connected directly to the modem), do you have another laptop/computer you can connect to the modem?

This is similar to what happened to me before. I used my cousin's laptop to connect to the modem and it's working fine. Turns out my computer's onboard LAN card was busted.

mejo sira yung wire either wire sa telephone or wire sa modem..

that's based in my experience.. ok kaya naman masyadong nagagalaw ung wire.. =)

Anu po ba maganda gawin dito?2 mons nku nagtitiis sa ganito.lagi man ako nagrereklamo sainyo.madami na ring technician bumalik dito, ilang beses na rin pinalitan modem. la pinagbago minsan mas lumalala pa.di ko naman pati pinupulot pambayad sainyo. Acct No 340 345 630. naglolokohan ba tayo?!!!

Here are few things that you can do while waiting. The following steps can help enhance your connection in the long run. They are also something you can do inside your home.

1) Check if your modem is near any of the following devices: TV sets (CRT Monitors also), UPS, AVRs, transformers, high powered lamps, huge speakers, base of wireless phones, refrigerators, air con, routers (if you own one, it is not advisable that it is inches beside the modem, 12-24 inches distance is recommended), and other similar devices.
2) Check also if the phone cable connecting the modem to the ADSL filter for any bites, exposed wires or irregularities.
3) Check also the brown cable connecting the phone jack to the box outside of your house for any irregularities, bite marks, or exposed wires.
4) Check also if the phone cable connecting the modem to the ADSL filter is the correct length (roughly three meters).
5) If you have a carpet like table cloth where you place the modem, better place a thick book in between as this can cause static electricity and thus affect your internet connection.
6) Make sure that the modem is in a well ventilated area.
7) Check if the phone cable connecting the modem to the ADSL filter is mingling with many wires coming from other appliances. If it does, better isolate or segregate them and move the modem's phone cable away from the other wires.
8) If you use phone extensions, please remove them as the ADSL filter supplied during the installation can only handle one phone unit.

Further, technicians do not do repairs if the weather is not cooperative. We all know that DSL is with electronics. Thus, if we have a rainy weather this hampers the repair. I do not know the weather conditions in Manila as I am somewhere else. But if there has been fair weather, then by all means follow this up through 181. The moderators have already followed this up thru the Bayan Moderators.

Lastly, please be more careful with your statements. We are a community here. The technical support hot line is a separate entity from the Forum. While this is a feedback site for BayanDSL, 98% of the people you will meet here are your fellow subscribers. Thus, it would be best if we all treat each other as equals and be patient with the problems we have as we the moderators are doing our best already in terms of following your concerns with the technical support hot line. Nag Report na ba kayo sa 181 or 4112000? Para Magawan po ng report number and mapuntahan kayo ng tech bukas...

Question ko lang po, Pag nagddc ba namamatay yung LED Light ng modem nyo? (ADSL Light)
