There are certain criteria for that to apply. In giving advise please be more careful. It is not always the case that the NTC steps in. I have seen the thread you are referring to. This is a case to case basis. Last I checked, only those who are subscribed to business packages (like leased lines etc) are guaranteed their actual speed (as was the bone of contention in the thread mentioned or cited). The thread you mentioned here does not also give any clear procdures that Agnes can follow. It does contain bits of information, but the details, they are not that detailed. It is not always the case that given the same situation as the one described in the thread, the NTC always steps in. The details provided is not actually complete other than those mentioned in the thread. The only bone of contention that I gather from the thread was that the speed was reduced, but as to why it was reduced, it does not tell. Thus, there are missing data here, and I cannot assume facts till I get to see what really happened or get the details. But the fact that NTC stepped in, I can only surmise that there is something not mentioned in that thread that made it worth intervening into by the NTC. It does not, however, give Agnes, the clear cut details as to how to go about her problem (other than emailing the NTC at the mentioned email address), which I gather is a totally different scenario. Nice advise though. I just wished it would have been a little more complete, especially in citing references for actions like this.

Wala kang makikitang process dun kasi Forum lang din yun. It does not give the merits why the NTC stepped in the first place. The bone of contention there was the Pre-Termination Fee upon having the line cut. It does have details on that but why the NTC stepped in and intervened, still not in the thread. And last I checked, those who gave their opinion in that thread are pretty much not considered the authority when it comes to this things either. So again if you are looking for the process, that thread is not helpful.

Please note that I am not downplaying the post of Xentar. My philosophical training as well as my scientific training tells me the advise is not complete. It just sites and example, but practically, that is just about it. An advise that has legal repercussions should be given with a lot of info as well as taken with a bit of grain of salt. We just cannot keep on citing things that otherwise do not come in full view of what we really need. The advise was nice, though it would be more appreciated if it was complete.

Given your situation, I will do what I have always done, contact the technical support people and keep informing them of the problem. I know things do not get fixed that fast. Yet at the end of the day, if there is one thing I learned, it is really how you deal with people that really makes or breaks certain situations. And if that does not fix it still, then we all have our choices, we either stay or move on. The choice is still ours at the end of the day.

I remember before, 2004 na may kaibigan ko parating nagpapalit ng DSL Modem kasi umiinit siya, Check ko yong Modem at Adaptor iba yong Rating, masmataas sa recommended Volt at Current

You could have stated this when you cited the thread to make it more complete. At least you are now learning. Hindi yung you just give a site and then leave the rest for everyone to figure out. An incomplete advise is not really an advise as it leaves much to be desired for. I hope you know what that means.

The TS hardly always just complains. Data is scarce in many of his complains. This just came up in the recent posts he made. Has she mentioned this before that the modem also heats up, then an appropriate advise would have been provided.

Kung My Noise Reducer or Filter ka provided ng Bayantel Check mo yin yan pwede Moist or Sira na siya.

Kung nakikita mo I think i post dito "Intermittent Disconnection", then sinabi ko doon ok na at ok narin yong ping, i assume babalik na sa dating magandang Relasyon ko sa Bayantel, parang na ayos lang yong Intermittent Disconnection pero, bumalik ulit yong problem 3-2 days after ma-ayos yong problem.

Nag Reformat kanaba ng Computer mo? Pwede kasi malware or May Problem sa PC mo parating na Disconnect yong Modem

same lng po ung voltage tas ampere. 12V&500mA for the output ng adaptor,12V&500mA,nkaelevate na po ung modem ko,sbi kc ng technician,gnun pdin naman ang net ko,pero pag gabi kc ayos naman ang net ko khit di nkaelevate ang modem mejo mabagal lng kaso.d'oh! d'oh! d'oh!

ping ko sa yahoo 300+,plus dcdc pag umaga. pag sa dns below 20,dc dc din,pag gabi mabagal 300-800 ping sa yahoo.minsan lng dc,pero last night palagi na din dc.naun nga 2 mins plang connected dc na haha.ok ang speed ko pag umaga.unli dc lng kaso,di ko alam kung bkit sinunod ko naman sbi ng technician kahapon.

Omg,one min lng ang connection ko haha,the best tlaga kau!hay ganung pdin hanggang naung hapon gbi na gnun pdin ,kakawalang gana mag net.nauubos oras ko sa kakapost dito haha,ngaung nga hirapan ako post nito,di talga nagtatagal ang net ko ng 1 min huhu.

It takes more than a minute to post in the Forum. I suggest you look into the suggestions made by Xentar, alongside reporting the problem to technical support. I have been in the Forum far too long to see what patience can bring. DSL is not a perfect technology and on occasions it does take time for it to be fixed. I have seen Forumers who are now enjoying their connections although at the onset, they had difficulty. I cannot blame you for the frustration, as I have seen the same happen to some Forumers. Yet, their patience paid off. I will cite ryan1978 and myself. We are now enjoying our connections. Although the problem that ryan encountered was indeed difficult. I think you more or less are in the same boat as he is. Just be patient. I will try to make a follow up on this.
