Account Number: 329049728

ngayon lang nagkaroon ng time mag reklamo kasi busy sa work. hehe

1) up to this moment, i am still experiencing disconnections (dsl light blinks indefinitely)
3) my huawei modem was replaced by ZTE
4) i did not tweaked the modem's settings

nag isolate ako para ma trim down ung possibilities

3) macconnect ako for 10 secs then disconnect uli
5) lalo akong nabadtrip

ano kaya problema sir?

One way to totally isolate the router and the modem is to set them apart and switch off the router. Although what you did is a good way to isolate the devices.

Not necessarily. Remember the modem will still check and try to sync up. Thus the DSL light may not always remain off. It will blink on occasions as the modem tries to sync with the IP DSLAM. We have to note that the modem cannot tell if there is a phone cable connected to it as its main function is to sync with the IP DSLAM. Once it is switched on, it will attempt to do that. The fact though that the DSL continues to blink without the cable attached means the modem is not defective.

The main problem could be in the physical line. Mod Khupalkah already saw your report. Please call the hotline and advise them as to when would you be available to receive the technician. Thank you.

pwede ba akong gumamit ng ibang modem? for example, bibili ako...

salamat

The modem is in bridged mode by default. Once a modem is set to bridged mode, it does not manage the connection. It merely negotiates the sync rate between the IPDSLAM and itself. Other than that, either it is really defective or it is working as there are no settings that can be adjusted, unless it is a very sophisticated modem. Please keep on reporting the problem. I am also using a ZTE modem and I am not experiencing any problems with it. And yes, it is on Bridged mode as I do have a router.

Hi Ralphmartin (and to the tech support),

Parehong-pareho tayo ng problem as in 100% gusto ko i-copy yung na-enumerate mong details. I tried to repair it, sabi ng error di daw nagbibigay ng IP Address so I have to contact the network administrator.

Nagsimula ang problem the day after Bagyong Basyang, everyday yun ang problem ko. So i have to disconnect and then reconnect. I won't do that now, dahil sa experiences namin ngayon.

Pero pag nag blink n ang dsl light, it takes forever for the modem to establish a solid light again. Na isolate ko n ung modem like inilayo s lahat ng equipment n me static electricity at iba pang troubleshooting n pede kong gawin to have a solid dsl light. Two days ago, ganun din ung problema ko pero after a while nag ssteady nman ung dsl light.

With all your due respects, I have seen the video prior to replying to it. We use the same modem type and it will going on two years already since I have the modem. I was merely explaining how settings in the modem can't affect the connection if it is in bridged. It was just a sugar coated way of saying, you are not allowed to access the modem's interface and change any of it as that can be considered as modem tampering already. Technicians at BayanDSL have already pre configured their modems to be used on a bridged status. It was another way of saying that the problem is where you suspected it, it could be in the physical line itself.

Different modems behave differently. AS can be seen with your observation here. I do have the same modem but perhaps one difference we have is that I have a router and I do not let the PC manage the connection. I am glad though that the DCs are already getting less. What do you mean mahirap mag dial? Or it is taking it a little longer to dial yet the connection goes through?
