hi, po sa lahat nag babalik .. :D
ask ko lang po kung bakit lagi ako nawawalan ng connection..? sa isang araw halos 100x pawala-wala ung connection ko.?
sana may makatulong sakin.. :D

Bayan EVDO (which is the wireless broadband service of Bayan) or you are referring to BayanDSL?

DSL pa to bhe, wrong section ka XD

BTW, OK nmn status ng line mo upon checking. Below are the parameters:

Signal Attenuation: 10db
Errored Secs: 4 (for 24hr measurement interval)
Unavailable Secs: 28 (for 24hr measurement interval)
Loss of Signal: 0

Naitawag mo na ba to sa hotline? Bka need lng i-port reset. ^_~

yup ilan beses ko na po na-itawag to.. pero ganon parin.
paulit-ulit lang po ako na-d-dc everyday..

What happens sa DSL light mo when you get disconnected? Steady ba siya or not? Did you request already for a technician to check your connection and your modem?

Try to check the following:

1) Check if your modem is near any of the following devices: TV sets (CRT Monitors also), UPS, AVRs, transformers, high powered lamps, huge speakers, base of wireless phones, refrigerators, air con, routers (if you own one, it is not advisable that it is inches beside the modem, 12-24 inches distance is recommended), and other similar devices.
2) Check also if the phone cable connecting the modem to the ADSL filter for any bites, exposed wires or irregularities.
3) Check also the brown cable connecting the phone jack to the box outside of your house for any irregularities, bite marks, or exposed wires.
4) Check also if the phone cable connecting the modem to the ADSL filter is the correct length (roughly three meters).
5) If you have a carpet like table cloth where you place the modem, better place a thick book in between as this can cause static electricity and thus affect your internet connection.
6) Make sure that the modem is in a well ventilated area.
7) Check if the phone cable connecting the modem to the ADSL filter is mingling with many wires coming from other appliances. If it does, better isolate or segregate them and move the modem's phone cable away from the other wires.
8) If you use phone extensions, please remove them as the ADSL filter supplied during the installation can only handle one phone unit.

You can do this while waiting for the feedback of technical support. What happens ba with your DSL light sa modem when you get disconnected? Still request a technician from the hotline and tell them that the problem is still existing.

I will also make a follow up na about this through our Bayan Moderators. Just wait for the feedback coming from any of the moderators.
