I would like to know if they are an authorized re-provider of this service, saka bakit masyado yatang mahal?

TIA

Yes Sir. Bayantel po ang provider ni INTELCO, yung price matrix nila is different from price matrix of Bayan.

Thanks for the prompt reply.

Atleast now I know that they are an authorized distributor of this service.

It is a good thing you changed the way you posted this. I deleted your previous post as that has legal bearings especially with the manner you posted your inquiry.

We will let the other moderators respond to this since they are the ones who handle inquiries like these.

Just to reiterate the post of Mod NTF, INTELCO's pricing is different from BayanDSL. Since they are a re-provider, you cannot expect them to provide the same price packaging as that of BayanDSL even if they are using the services of BayanDSL to provide the net service to them.

You also have to understand that whatever pricing that BayanDSL provided them to use their line, that is just between BayanDSL and Intelco. The publicly declared pricing scheme declared in the area covered by Intelco will still be inherent on INTELCO and in now way can BayanDSL interfere with it or even make changes to it. We also have to understand that there are legal bearings on such things and in no way can the Forum make comments about it since Intelco is a re-provider of the services of BayanDSL.

This is not the opinion of BayanDSL though but as a moderator, I am just clarifying the issues involved here. We will have to wait for the other moderators to comment on such a sensitive issue.

The best people to ask why their pricing scheme is like this will be the very people from INTELCO since they are the authorized provider in your area.

Magulo 'yung price, may typo sila, tapos ung 512kbps at 768kbps parang mali mas mura ung mas mabilis..

If that is the case na magulo yung pricing scheme nila based on how you understand it, then the only people who will be in a better position to assist you will be the people from INTELCO since they are the ones who came up with the pricing scheme. If the front liners of INTELCO cannot provide an answer to your satisfaction, then perhaps escalating it to a supervisor will be able to assist you. Again, it will be up to your judgement if you will need a supervisor since you are the ones dealing with them. Just like in any company you deal with in any country, if the front liners cannot provide you the assistance you need, then you go up the corporate ladder and deal with the next authority.

As for directly connecting with BayanDSL, your area is not covered by BayanDSL. As MOD NTF pointed out, INTELCO ang may jurisdiction diyan so sila ang authorized mag provide ng DSL sa area mo, so you will have to connect through them. Ang mangyayari lang is like this, the lines and facilities that will be used will that of INTELCO, but when it comes to the internet, sa facilities ng BayanDSL sila kokonek para magka internet kayo diyan. This is a common strategy for many telcomms in the provinces that has the existing facility for telecomms but does not have the infrastructure yet for the internet service. So in this case, you will still have to connect to INTELCO if you want to get a hold of the connection provided by BayanDSL since they are the authorized re-provider in your area.

I understand. On the contrary, I cannot do as you requested. There is freedom of speech on the net. However, the laws and legal parlance where the people involved in the net (like in our case) will still prevail. This is a public forum and thus everything we post here do have legal bearings. This is the reason why we always say, there is freedom but with freedom there comes also a very big responsibility. Thus, I will still have to make sure that everything posted here is in accordance with the law. That cannot be ignored.

The moderators are part and parcel responsible for what is posted here. That is why we are strict on these things. I hope you understand.

Thank you.

As far as I know we already stop selling Net Basic and Net Value. Yung Net Starter dynamic sya (PPPOE) but you can request for 1 Static IP upon activation.
