is there a simpler explanation? lol xD from what i'm understanding everyone is sharing 5gb of bandwidth due to the cable in hongkong being down?

Goes to show there is SO much more besides speedtest results. Currently I am getting perfect results when pinging bayantel servers, so that's nice. But can I use my connection properly for gaming, VoIP etc.? The web isn't just networking inside the philippines - it is supposed to connect users from different parts of the world, despite geographical boundaries. This trouble with HK just serves to worsen the already poor connectivity with lines "outside" of bayantel.

waaaaaaaaaa need ko pa naman tapusin ang mga projects & reports ko dahil malapit na matapos ang first semester damn wla pa ba news ko when mag stable ang internet connection? i want my fast connection back it feels like we bayantel users are being rip-off T_T 2 DAYS NA MAHINA ANG NET KO KAHIT DOWNLOADING A FILE WORTH 2MB WILL TAKE 10 MINUTES WTF! + kahit google nahihirapan na pumasok not just me all of the bayantel users here in my province are getting irritated.
