Please HELP !!!

Customer Service (176) says: "To activate the Speed Dial feature, press: *33<2-digit-key><tel-no>. The <2-digit-key> is any from 00 to 09 keypad location, and the <tel-no> is the telephone number to be stored.
But doing so, returns this recorded message: "The number you dialed is invalid", and no telephone-number is stored.
Can somebody please advise me on how to do it correctly?

By the way, I am using a Huawei ETS2555.
