earlier yesterday nagbayad kami ng bill sa bayantel. tapos tinanong namin sa tao (na friend ng kuya ko) kung bakit ang bagal bagal ng internet. and she said na hindi lng naman daw kami ang may hawak sa port namin or whatever. in one port, you are sharing it with 3 - 4 other people. now i dont know if this is the common practice in internet service providers but. but i think 5 people sharing a port is the reason why everyone is getting slow connection. and god knows who is getting the top priority on the internet speed.

hmmm... never had this kind of trouble back in our other former internet service providers. like si G or si P but yeah.. thats the problem i think. the the port can't handle the bandwidth.

This isn't surprising this is in all ISP's . You share if you have a dynamic ip to some few several people. but you won't share your connection if you have a static IP in your plan.

Really ? i think not though, static normally is just for 1 computer only ex, 1xx.1xx.1xx.1xx if someone uses it in another pc then that would resolve to IP Conflict. Well not that i know much though,

Well not that i know much though, De po to LAN, Sa WAN IP. Wala po kinalaman yong IP dito. Problem niya is CIR ( Committed Information Rate) which subscribe Plan niya hindi na meet sa expected Result na Binabayaran niya. Previous post ko nandoon ang explanation ko.
