3 mbps DHCP upgrade from 2.5 mbps PPPOE Options · View

Rank: Newbie Groups: Member Joined: 12/8/2007 Posts: 6 Points: -463 Location: Camarines Sur		I just saw the latest residential packages available. The newest highest package is 3 mbps at 2499Php. My current account is a 2.5 mbps PPPOE. I understand that if I upgrade to 3 mbps, my account shall be changed from PPPOE to DHCP. What would be the difference? Will I benefit from an increased speed considering it is a 3 mpbs DHCP and not PPPOE? Also, I'd like to know if what kind of IP does PPPOE use? Is it Dynamic or Static? And if I upgrade to 3 mbps using DHCP, will it utilize Dynamic or Static IP? Thanks a lot. "In vinum veritas"
